Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to India! Upon arrival, you will be received at the airport and transferred to your room in the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day / time is free for leisure. Overnight stay is scheduled in the hotel.

Day 2

Delhi tour

After breakfast leave for an all-day guided tour of Delhi. The first place to be visited is Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple. Next stoppage is Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), which includes the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid among other attractions. A rickshaw ride will also be carried out in Kinari Bazar of Chandani Chowk to have a deeper and wider peep into the way of life. Hereinafter, proceed for Akshardham Temple, a temple built in classical Nagara style of temple architecture. Now, have lunch in a nice restaurant. After lunch, move for visiting Qutub Minar. On the way, visit impressive boulevards and buildings such as President House, war memorial India Gate etc in Lutyen Delhi (New Delhi). During the course of sightseeing explore buzzing bazaars of Delhi. Spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3

Delhi – Agra – Agra tour

In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Agra. You will be taken to Agra through Yamuna Expressway. On At the outskirt of Agra is tomb of It-Mad-ud-Daula, also known as Baby Taj. Your Agra tour guide will join you there and show the Mughal era monument. Having visited Baby Taj, drive to Agra. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal - a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Next monument to be visited is Agra Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening explore local market famous for its marble products. Shopping in Agra is an enchanting experience. Spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 4

Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri - Jaipur

Have breakfast in the morning and drive towards the pink city, visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route. Fatehpur Sikri is a Mughal era monuments cluster, still in nicely preserved form. Akbar wanted it to be capital of Mughal kingdom but paucity of water forced him to withdraw from there. Again drive towards Jaipur. About 77 kms prior capital of Rajasthan is a tourist destination- Abhaneri village. Famous for the biggest ‘baori’ of Rajasthan and ancient temple, Abhaneri was once capital of Gurjar king Bhoj. Chand Baori, Harshat Mata Temple and rural lifestyle are worth watching and observing. On arrival at Jaipur, you will be directly transferred to the hotel. Depending upon your choice or time availability, you will be driven to Nahargarh Fort, though in relatively dilapidated state, to have some beautiful views of the pink city at sunset from Nahargarh Fort. Later return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 5

Jaipur

Guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur will commence after breakfast in the hotel. The first tourist attraction to be visited is Amber Fort with elephant ride. Amber Fort has many beautiful buildings inside like Shish Mahal (mirror palace), courtyards, temple, public hall, private hall etc. After visiting Amber Fort, return to city centre of Jaipur, known for beautiful Rajput monuments. While returning, you will stop at Panna Meena Ka Kund, an artificial water tank known for unique architecture, and Jal Mahal, a palace amidst a lake and a perfect place for photography. Have lunch in the city and proceed later for City Palace Complex in the heart of the capital. The complex consists of cluster of palaces, solar observatory (Jantar Mantar) & ‘Palace of Winds’ (Hawa Mahal). You will have some free time to go for shopping in Jaipur’s colorful bazaars. Optionally in the afternoon visit Chokhi Dhani resort cum entertainment park for the special dinner of Rajasthan served in the truly Rajasthan style hospitality. Later return to Jaipur hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 6

Jaipur – Pushkar – Pushkar sightseeing

Having scrumptious breakfast in Jaipur hotel, drive to Pushkar and check in at the hotel. In this most sacred city of Rajasthan, you can also take a walk on the street around the sacred pond (Pushkar Lake) and ghats up to Brahma temple. 10 Days Pushkar Fair is organized every year in October / November. During Pushkar Fair, thousands of tourists throng to this place. Later return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 7

Pushkar - Deogarh

In the morning, after enjoying breakfast in Pushkar hotel, depart to Deogarh. Deogarh, also known as Devgarh, used to be principality of Chundawat Rajput in Mewar region of Rajasthan. On arrival at Deogarh, check in at the heritage hotel. The hotel, previously a royal palace (Raj Mahal), is in itself a tourist attraction. The murals on the walls of the Devgarh Palace are worth watching. Anjaneshwar Mahadev Temple in a cave in the hillside is a must-see attraction. Deogarh is known for horse riding and safari. You can enjoy village and lifestyle of its people while exploring nearby area on horseback. Enjoy a popular night show inside the palace. Later return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 8

Deogarh - Ranakpur

After delicious breakfast in Deogarh hotel, depart to Ranakpur, famous for its beautiful landscape and enchanting Ranakpur Jain Temple. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Having relaxed for a while, visit the Jain temple of Ranakpur. Intricately carved pillars, walls and roof make one spellbound with profuse decoration. Later return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 9

Ranakpur - Udaipur

After breakfast in Ranakpur hotel, depart for Udaipur. On the way to Udaipur, you will be visiting two very famous ancient temple complexes – Eklingiji & Nagda. Eklingiji Shiva Temple is located in a village, 22 kms to the north of Udaipur. The Eklingiji Shiva Temple in the village was originally built in 734 AD, although its current appearance dates back to the Maharana Raimal Empire between 1473 AD and 1509 AD. The walled complex includes an elaborate hall under a large pyramidal roof and sanctum sanctorum with a ‘lingam’ of black marble with four images of Lord Shiva. The temple opens from 5 AM to 7 PM, from 10 AM to 01PM, and 5 PM to 7 PM.

After visiting Eklingiji, visit Nagda. Nagda, hardly a km from Eklingiji, is a small village these days. It is famous for Sahastra Bahu temples which are partially in ruins but certainly indicate the lost glory and splendor. The cluster has very fine and complex architecture and carvings, including some erotic figures. Hereinafter, proceed to Udaipur. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Udaipur tour

Have scrumptious breakfast and proceed on a guided tour of Udaipur. Among the prominent monuments and sights of Udaipur are City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari & Meera Bai Temple & Lake Palace (Jag Niwas). Lake Palace will be seen from outside while enjoying boat ride in Lake Pichola. The beautiful Lake Pichola was enlarged by Maharana Udai Singh after he founded the city. He built a masonry dam, known as the Badi Pol. The lake is four km long and three kilometers wide. However, it is still quite shallow and can really dry out in severe summers. The City Palace of Udaipur extends to a considerable distance along the eastern shore of the lake. To the south of the City Palace is a pleasant garden that juts into the lake. To the north of the City Palace, you can stroll along the lake, where you will find some interesting bathing and laundry (dhobi) ghats. The boat trips which depart regularly from the City Palace pier (known as Bansi Ghat) are pleasant but expensive. Later in the evening, you can opt for going to enjoy nightly entertainment either in Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal or in Bagore Ki Haveli. Day 11

Bera

After breakfast in Udaipur, drive towards Bera through wooded hills which has a large concentration of tribal population. The picturesque and pleasant journey will end in Bera. You will be staying in resort in the jungle. Bera is a leopard wildlife sanctuary. Bera, located midst Kumbhalgarh & Mount Abut in Pali district of Rajasthan, is marked by low hills of the Aravallis and meager vegetation. The area is home to a large number of leopards, the most shy and elusive among the big cats. You can opt for going on a safari or relax in the resort. Chances are high that you spot leopard in its natural habitat. Spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 12

Bera - Rohet

Having enjoyed delicious breakfast in Bera hotel, depart for Rohet in the morning. On arrival at Rohet, a charming village /town, check in at heritage hotel Rohetgarh Palace. Having relaxed for a while, proceed on a safari to the Bishnoi villages. The people of Bishnoi community carry a typical lifestyle of the desert clearly close to nature. Another attraction of Rohet is Rohet Garh Fort. It was built in the 16th century, the Rohet Garh Fort has arched walkways leading to a central compound. All rooms open into this compound. The complex has a beautiful decoration with carved furniture, souvenirs and paintings. The dining room is decorated with a large collection of hunting rifles, shields, spearheads, daggers, skins and ancient tiger trophies. All this contributes to the picturesque atmosphere of the fort. After sightseeing, return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 13

Rohet - Jodhpur

Having delicious breakfast in Rohet, drive to Jodhpur, known as ‘Blue City of Rajasthan’. On arrival at Jodhpur, you will be directly taken to Mehrangarh Fort, the prime attraction of the city. It will be a guided sightseeing. One of the best-kept forts of Rajasthan, Mehrangarh Fort has several palaces, courtyards, gardens, temples and museum inside. Having seen the fort, you will be transferred to Jodhpur hotel. Check in, have lunch, relax a bit and again proceed on for visiting attractions of Jodhpur, namely, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace museum and Sadar Bazaar. After sightseeing, return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 14

Rohet - Jodhpur – Delhi - Departure

Having scrumptious breakfast, spend morning hours leisurely in the hotel. Late in morning or early noon, depending upon the flight schedule, you will be transferred to Jodhpur airport to take the flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival, board flight for your onward destination.
