Day 1

Arrival at New Delhi

Arrival in Delhi in the evening. You will come across personalized welcome with flower garlands and be transferred to Delhi hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Delhi - Shekhawati (250 Kms/ 6 hours)

After breakfast in New Delhi hotel, depart by road to the Shekhawati, a region of Rajasthan nicknamed " Open-Air Art Gallery". It is in these boroughs surrounded by the sand dunes that one finds the havelis, houses of the rich merchants who once lived in the carvan route between India and Pakistan. The havelis are small palaces with walls adorned with painted frescoes, real illuminated works.

On arrival at Shekhawati, check in at the hotel. Relax a bit and proceed to visit the villages of Mandawa and Nawalgarh which seem almost asleep after the departure of its rich merchant families, leaving behind many havelis today almost abandoned. You may be awakened by the cry of the many peacocks that populate the village. The peacock is the national bird of India. After village exploration, spend the evening in leisure and have overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3

Shekhawati - Bikaner (150 Kms/ 04 hours)

Have breakfast in the hotel and depart by road for Bikaner. On arrival at Bikaner, check in at the hotel to relax a bit. Thereafter, sally out for city tour. Surrounded by the desert, Bikaner remains inhabited by warrior Rajputs with their heroic past, with its labyrinth of medieval alleys. Walk in tuk tuk and discover its lively bazaar. Visit the magnificent Maharaja Castle of Bikaner which is inside an impressive citadel, Fort Junagarh, which contains a beautiful collection of weapons. Also visit Camel Breeding Farm. Later in the evening, return to Bikaner hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 4

Bikaner – Jodhpur - Khejarla (360 Kms - 06 hours)

Have breakfast in Bikaner hotel and depart by road to Jodhpur. On arrival at Jodhpur, visit the "blue city". Jodhpur is dominated by Mehrangarh Fort, "Fort of Majesty" with the harem, the sumptuous reception room, the cradle room, the curious little palace of the mirrors and the room with royal palanquins with the "howdah" in chiselled silver. You will also visit Jaswant Thada, a magnificent white marble mausoleum built in memory of the Maharaja Jaswant Singh. It is called the Taj Mahal of Rajasthan. Continue with a walk in the bazaar around the Clock Tower. Here craftsmen and merchants of all kinds are employed. The stalls of this market are overflowing with stuffs like sari, spices, grains, fruits and vegetables. From here, late afternoon, depart for Khejarla and check in at Fort Khejarla, a premium heritage hotel. Dinner will be accompanied by traditional music and night stay at the fort.

Day 5

Khejarla – Pushkar - Jaipur (270 Kms/ 5 hours)

Have breakfast in Khejarla Fort and depart by road to Jaipur via Pushkar. A few kilometers from Ajmer is Pushkar, one of the highly sacred places of Hinduism, an important place of pilgrimage. Located on the shores of the lake, the ghats allow the pilgrims to go down to bathe in the sacred waters. Every year in November there takes place one of the largest camel fairs, one of the most famous and colorful of India. This camel fair is known worldwide as Pushkar Fair. After sightseeing of Pushkar and lunch in the town, depart by road to Jaipur.

On arrival at Jaipur, you will be transferred to the hotel. Relax a while and you will be taken to a famous movie theatre called Raj Mandir to enjoy typical Bollywood movie which will help you to acclimatize while laughing and crying along with the Indian audiences.

The city of Jaipur boasts of having one of the most beautiful cinema halls in the world, the Raj Mandir. With 1,125 seats, it boasts of being the largest venue in Asia. The Indian cinema, more commonly called "Bollywood" is a tradition, even an art of living, in India. The actors perform beautiful singing and dancing exercises throughout a thrilling plot (comparable to that of Hollywood films). Later, after enjoying Indian movie, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6

Jaipur exploration

After breakfast in Jaipur hotel, visit the Fort of Amber, the capital of the old Rajput empire. Reach to the top of its ramparts in an all-terrain vehicle or in jeep 4X4 or on the back of elephants, depending upon your choice. The palace rooms and a small temple dedicated to the goddess Kali are located around a pleasant garden. Have lunch in a local restaurant, followed by a puppet show.

After lunch, visit Jaipur, the "Pink City", built in the 16th century. Jaipur is one of the most colorful and picturesque cities in India. Visit the "City Palace", Maharajah Palace, famous for its weapons and its beautiful collection of costumes, the "Jantar Mantar", an astonishing observatory built by a prince passionate about astronomy. We pass by the famous "Hawa Mahal", Palace of the Winds, probably the most famous monument of Jaipur, architectural fantasy, huge baroque facade of pink sandstone.

Walk in rickshaw in the bustling bazaar where you can admire the craftsmen in their stalls. At the end of the day, enjoy saree wearing demonstration for woman and the turban wearing for men. Later return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7

Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (260 Kms/ 05 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Agra by road. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, ancient and astonishing capital built by the Mughal ruler Akbar in 1571 and abandoned after a few years. It is one of the most remarkable places from the artistic and architectural point of view that you will discover. The imperial city contains a great variety of palaces, buildings with colonnades, pavilions, courts and basins, mosques, caravan serai. Its sober baroque buildings form an extraordinary synthesis of the most varied architectural forms.

After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, continue drive to Agra. Agra is one of the high places of Mughal art and architecture. Its two most prestigious monuments, the Red Fort and the Taj Mahal, illustrate the aesthetic perfection achieved by Hindu-Muslim art during the Mughal dynasty. Visit Agra Fort. This fortress, whose massive pink sandstone walls dominate the Yamuna, contains palaces, real jewels of white marble and red sandstone carved with colored stones, courtrooms, gardens and houses ponds and mosques ... Founded by Akbar, it marks the birth of the imperial Mughal style of architecture. Shah Jahan was incarcerated by his son and from his cell he could admire the Taj Mahal, the tomb of his beloved wife.

Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 8

Agra - Delhi (210 Kms/ 04 hours) - Departure

At sunrise, visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday), bright white marble mausoleum built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan in memory of his deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal, is undoubtedly the most famous monument of India. It is said to be the eighth wonder of the world and the most famous monument in India. Raised in a garden on the banks of the Yamuna, this marvelous monument with its inlay works of semi-precious stones, inlaid in white marble, celebrates the memory of a woman and immortalizes the love that the emperor bore for her. Later, return to hotel to have breakfast. After breakfast and relaxing a bit, depart for New Delhi by road.

On arrival at New Delhi, explore few famous highlights of the city. Visit of Delhi, the capital of the India. Since 1060 when the Rajput Tomara clan chose it to establish as its capital, Delhi has been political centre of India. Formerly Indraprastha, its origin dates back to the Vedic times. You will be first taken to discover Qutub Minar, famous minaret, a fantastic 73 m high monument. It is one of the oldest monuments of Delhi (12th century). Thereafter, visit India Gate, President House, Parliament and Connaught Place (or Connaught Circus). Connaught Place is the meeting place of a crowd attracted by many shops, cinemas, restaurants, offices and Jan Path, on the outskirts of Connaught Place, is the grand boulevard of New Delhi, a major commercial thoroughfare. Later, in time you will be transferred to international airport to board flight for your onward destination.
