Brahma, the creator god, is one of the Trinity gods of the Hindus. Built of granite and sandstone, this was originally a Vishnu Temple. Part of the Eastern Temples Group, it is located on the outskirts of the village and on the way to the Vamana Temple. It is a modest and isolated structure originally dedicated to Vishnu. Though from architectural point of view, it’s a small and rather not much significant temple but while approaching Brahma Temple, you will have to pass through villages which give you an interesting peep into rural lifestyle of Khajuraho. Brahma Temple is constructed on the bank of the Khajuraho- Pond and dates back to 900 AD. It has a small apex and its ceiling is pyramidal in shape.
