Day 1

Arrive in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted with traditional Indian reception and transferred to your hotel. Delhi is the capital of India. One of the oldest cities in the world, Delhi has a great old city atmosphere in Old Delhi and modern ambiance in New Delhi. Overnight stay is scheduled in Delhi hotel.

Day 2

Delhi tour

After scrumptious breakfast in the hotel, along with Delhi tour guide, visit historical monuments of Delhi. Delhi sightseeing will commence from old Delhi sightseeing. Visit the Red Fort, built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. Enjoy a manual rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, one of the largest and oldest organized markets in India. Continue your tour by visiting the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque and Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi, "Father of the Nation" was cremated. Now, continue your tour to East Delhi to visit Akshardham temple, a grand temple built in Nagar temple architecture style. Akshardham temple is famous for its architectural beauty. Hereinafter, proceed for Qutub Minar, a giant red sandstone-built tower. On the way to Qutub Minar, walk in the diplomatic area marked by government buildings, Rashtrapati Bhawan (residence of the President of India), the Parliament and India Gate. Day 3

Delhi- Jaipur- Jaipur exploration

After enjoying delicious breakfast in Delhi hotel, depart by road in the morning for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, also known as the "Pink City". On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel to check in, relax and have lunch. Post lunch, a guided tour of Jaipur will be conducted that will include three iconic monuments of Jaipur – City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Visit the City Palace which is a museum and Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Also visit Jantar Mantar or the astronomical observatory, the largest of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II. After sightseeing, explore buzzing colorful market of Jaipur. Explore the exotic bazaars of Jaipur to discover the region's artistic wealth. Later in the evening, attend Aarti ceremony in Govind Dev Ji temple in City Palace compound. Day 4

Jaipur tour

Early in the morning, when in the light of rising sun the Taj Mahal looks most beautiful, youAfter breakfast, in the morning, visit Amber Fort and enjoy an elephant ride. Further, drive to Jaigarh Fort to see world’s largest canon Jai Van, water storage system, weapons museum and ravaged foundry. Stroll to the beautifully restored Jal Mahal, a former Royal Pavilion of entertainment. Have lunch in a nice restaurant and proceed to visit Albert Hall museum. Depending upon your choice, you can be taken either to visit Birla Temple or visit royal cenotaphs (Gaitor) or experience the flavors of Indian films at the local cinema with a small Bollywood movie or have dinner in an Indian family, naturally with a supplement. Day 5

Jaipur- Abhaneri- Fatehpur Sikri- Agra

After delicious breakfast in Jaipur hotel, depart for Agra. Visit two historical sites on the way - Abhaneri village and Fatehpur Sikri. Abhaneri is famous for its 8th -9th century ‘baori’ (water storage system), Harshat Mata temple and village lifestyle in a traditional Rajasthani village. In Fatehpur Sikri, watch mammoth palatial complex of Mughal era. Fatehpur Sikri, a world heritage site, was the first planned city of the Mughal and was built by Akbar during 1564 AD. Continue the drive to Agra, famous for being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World- the Taj Mahal. On arrival, you will be transferred to Agra hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6

Agra tour – New Delhi

Early in the morning visit the Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays). It is the most fascinating and beautiful monument of India. Spend about two hours therein. Later, return to hotel for getting refreshed and have breakfast. Also visit the Agra Fort, an imposing fortress on the banks of the Yamuna River, built by the Mughal king Akbar. Now, drive to New Delhi. On the way, at the outskirt of Agra, visit tomb Daula, known as Baby Taj and precursor to Taj Mahal. Late evening, reach Delhi to be transferred to the hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 7

New Delhi – Amritsar (by train)

Early morning, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the Shatabdi express train to Amritsar, the religious capital of the Sikhism. On arrival at Amritsar, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Later in the day, you will be taken Wagha (Bagha) Border to attend the very interesting parade ceremony between India-Pakistan security officials. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8

Amritsar tour – New Delhi (by train)

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Golden Temple and attend prayers. The most amazing part is to watch the big community kitchen called ‘langar’ in the Golden Temple which works 24 hours a day. In the ‘langar’ hall, anyone can participate in cooking, washing, cleaning, feeding and other activities. Also, visit Jalianwala Bagh, a martyrs’ memorial. Thereafter, in-time, you will transferred to New Delhi-bound Shatabdi express train. On arrival at New Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9

New Delhi - Departure
