About 22 temples, clustered into three groups- western, eastern and southern, are feast to eyes. Western group of temples, especially Kandariya Mahadev Temple, is visit worthy. Erotic sculptures on the walls of many temples perfectly get in sync with mood of the honeymooners. Day 1

Khajuraho arrival

You will be received by our representative on arrival at Khajuraho and transferred to pre-booked hotel. He will ensure quick and smooth check in. During the course of moving from railway station / airport to hotel, the representative will detail you about the sightseeing and activities to be conducted during the 3 days duration. Spend the day in leisure. In the evening, you will be taken to watch either Sound & Light Show or a cultural fiesta, in the premises of the Western Group of Temples. After the event, you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Khajuraho sightseeing

Have scrumptious breakfast and proceed on for visiting famous monuments, the western and eastern groups of Khajuraho temples. Khajuraho, a major tourist destination in India, is famous for its complex of temples covered with finely carved sculptures. Its erotic statues particularly appeal to visitors. Khajuraho is now a tourist town, with all modern amenities like hotels, restaurants and shops. Khajuraho was formerly capital of Chandela kings and they built during 950 AD to 1050 AD fascinating temples, the jewel of Hindu architecture. Among the prominent temples are Laxman Temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple and Devi Jagadamba Temple. The Lakshmana Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the most finely decorated with almost statues & sculptures of 600 gods, nymphs, apsaras, etc on the walls. This temple is famous for its erotic statuettes on the south side of the building. These are actually a tiny portion of the decoration. The Kandarîya Mahadeo Temple is the most important among the temples, both in its size & ornamentation with its 900 statues carved in yellow sandstone. Kandaria Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devi Jagadamba Temple is one of the most finely decorated, especially with many erotic scenes. Although featuring a large statue of a goddess, it was probably once devoted to Lord Vishnu. After sightseeing, post-lunch, the day has been kept free for you to spend time in leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport / railway station for onward destination.

In case you are particular to stay with any preferred hotels, please do let us know and we will revise our cost accordingly.
If a particular hotel is stated in this travel proposal is not available, we will book you at an alternative hotel in the same category as the one stated with your consent and agreement.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country.

Payment Terms:

We would require 50% advance payment to secure your bookings and process the file. We accept bank transfers and payment by credit cards through PAYPAL international payment gateway only. Balance amount needs to be paid on arrival in India by cash, Traveller’s Cheques or credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to 4.88% bank fees.

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.

100% cancellation if cancelled 15 day or less.
