Day 1

Delhi - Agra - Sightseeing

You will be received at airport or picked up from Delhi hotel in the morning. You will be driven to Agra by airconditioned car. It takes about 4 hours to reach Agra. As you enters the Agra city, on the way to your hotel, an important monument of Mughal era -Tomb of It Mad ud Daula- is spotted. Agra tour guide will meet you here. A visit to Baby Taj (Tomb of It Mad ud Daula) will be your first introduction with medieval era heritage of India. After visiting the Baby Taj, depart for Agra city. On arrival, check in at the booked hotel to refresh and relax. After lunch, proceed to visit Agra Fort, one of the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Agra. Earlier a small fortress of Rajput rulers, the foundation of a gigantic fort of Agra was laid down by Akbar. Jahangir kept it resored with minor additions. During the reign of Shahjahan, several new buldings were either built or embellished inside Agra Fort. After visiting Agra Fort, drive to Mehtab Bag across River Yamuna to behold Taj Mahal during sunset. Later in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Delhi - Departure

Early in morning, particularly at the time of sunrise, you will be taken to view Taj Mahal from inside. Agra tour guide will accompany you. During the course, you will have an opportunity to ride on Tonga- a horse carriage. Watch Taj Mahal from each nook and corner. The tour guide will keep detailing about history, architecture, uniqueness and craftsmanship. Spend as much time you wish. Normally people spend 2-3 hours in Taj Mahal. After visiting Taj Mahal, return to hotel to refresh and relax. After checking out from hotel, drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted city, about 40 kms from Agra. It was built by Akbar as another capital but due to paucity of water, it could not get capital status of Mughal empire.The buildings here are stone-built, gigantic and built on Islamic pattern. It takes about two hours to explote Fatehpur Sikri. After sightseeing, drive back to New Delhi. On the way back, you can have lunch at nice eating joints. On arrival at New Delhi, you will be transferred to airport/ railway station/ bus terminus.

Balance amount needs to be paid on arrival in India by cash, Traveller’s Cheques or credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to 4.88% bank fees.

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.

100% cancellation if cancelled 15 day or less.
