Though the sunset happens early and sunrise happens late, but it spares enough time to explore Jaipur in the most hospitable climate. Winter season begins to creep in October and lasts till March end. October, November, December, January, February and March are the best months when temperature remains conducive for Jaisalmer tour. Between October and November the climate happens to be very good. The mercury climbs to 28° Celcius and hardly any rain is recorded. In the months of December & January, the climate remains good with day time temperature around 22° Celcius. Visiting Jaisalmer in Monsoon: Monsoon is the rainy season in India. Jaisalmer is a typical desert and, thus, obviously an arid land. Though the rainfall does take place but it’s certainly meager. Rainfall, from weather and tourism perspectives, is welcomed as it brings down temperature and prepares conducive climate to visit Jaisalmer. The monsoon season ranges from July to September. The scorching heat during these days makes traveling an inhospitable proposition, though the accommodation in hotels is available at throwaway price, making it a suitable time for budget travelers.
