Balvatika, translated as Children’s Park, is a prime tourist attraction of Ahmedabad. "Beg, borrow or steal a child should you wish to enter this park," observed a visitor, for this fairytale world is meant for children. The grown-ups can enter only accompanied by children. One can enjoy a memorable view of the lake from this park. Not far from Kankaria Lake is Kids City, the children's city, reproduces in miniature the life of a real city with its shops, administrations and green spaces. It is a unique concept in the world that should enchant the children. Within the campus are Natural History Museum and a planetarium. Various schools take their students to show them diversity of India and progress of the science that unravels various mysteries in the cosmos.
