The dolls collection conceptualized and set up by political cartoonist K. Shankar Pillai. Later it turned into a unique museum of Indian and foreign
dolls. The museum is spread over 5184.5 sq feet area. It is broadly divided into two sections- first section houses European, American, Australian and New Zealand
costume dolls and the second section is home to Asian, African and Indian costume dolls. More than 150 handcrafted Indian costume dolls are displayed here.
The museum is located right in the centre of the city at BSZ Marg. You can either walk to the museum from ITO, which is just 10 minutes away. However, it would
be better if you take the Blue Line Metro. The nearest station is Pragati Maidan, which is a 15 minutes walk away.
The museum remains open all days of the week except Monday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
