The campus is sprawled over a large area. The faculties are broadly grouped in three geographical clusters and commonly called as science faculty, art faculty and law & commerce faculty. The science faculty comprises departments of Biochemistry, Chemistry, Botany, Earth & Planetary Sciences, Electronics & Communication, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics & Zoology. Art faculty cluster includes departments of Ancient History, Anthropology, Arabic & Persian, Defense & Strategic Studies, Economics, Education, English, Geography, Hindi, Home Science, Medieval & Modern History, Music & Performing Arts, Philosophy, Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Urdu & Visual Arts. The third cluster comprises departments of Journalism & Mass Communication, Law & Commerce. The courses in these departments are relevant to today’s fast changing scenario in the realm of knowledge.
