2 Days Delhi Tour Package is aimed at ensuring maximum exploration of Delhi with opprtunity to see and experience salient aspects of cultural vividness of the capital city of India. Delhi is an ancient city that even finds mention as Indraprastha in Mahabharata. Rajput kings also made it their capital and built fortress. Excavations at the Old Fort of Delhi has given proof of human habitation even during pre-historic times. Islamic and Mughal dynasties also made Delhi as theie capital. In early 20th century, the British shifted their capital from Kolkata to New Delhi. Thus, Delhi offers monuments or vestiges of various civilizations to visit and amalgam of various cultural streams to see and feel. The places and monuments indicated in the day-wise sightseeing are based on the assumption that the Delhi tour commences at in the morning.

Day 1

Arrival & sightseeing of Delhi

If you are already staying in Delhi, our representative will meet you there and introduce you with tour guide and the chauffeur. And your sightseeing tour will commence at 9 am. If you are arriving in Delhi by either flight, train or bus, our representative will meet on airport/railway station/ bus terminal. You will be transferred to check in at Delhi hotel to refresh and relax before proceeding for sightseeing. The monuments and places to be visited today are Red Fort, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi and Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapai Bhawan, Parliament House & Akshardham Temple in New Delhi. Please note- Red Fort and Akshardham Temple remain closed on Monday. Only foreign tourists are provided manual rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, as Indians are used to it in their day to day life. Later in the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Delhi sightseeing - Departure

Post breakfast, the second day sightseeing of Delhi will begin. Many architectural gems are part of this Delhi tour. Major tourist attractions included are Humayu’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Lodi Garden, Qutub Minar complex and ISKCON temple. Humayu’s tomb is the first major monument that is identified as uniquely identifiable Mugha monument. Lotus Temple, a modern modument, is related to Bahai faith. Lodi garden is a beautiful garden that houses several historical monuments of pre-Mughal Islamic rule. Qutub Minar, world’s highest stone-built minaret, is one of the iconic monument of Delhi. In this very complex, a seven meter high Iron Pillar, errected in 3rd century by King Chandra, is found. This Iron Pillar is rustless since ages and, thus, testimony to highest level of alchemy practised by ancient Indian ironsmiths. Depending upon your departure time, you will be taken ISKCON temple to participate in the evening aarti ceremony. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to airport/ railway station/ bus terminal/ hotel.

Payment Terms:

We would require 50% advance payment to secure your bookings and process the file. We accept bank transfers and payment by credit cards through PAYPAL international payment gateway only. Balance amount needs to be paid on arrival in India by cash, Traveller’s Cheques or credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to 4.88% bank fees.

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.

100% cancellation if cancelled 15 day or less.
