Day 1

Arrival at Bhubaneswar & local sightseeing

Our representative will receive you at Bhubaneswar Station / Airport and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel, relax a bit and proceed for Bhubaneswar exploration. Visit Lingaraj Temple, Kedar Gauri Temple, Raja Rani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves.

Lingaraj Temple, an 11th-century marvel built of red sandstone, is an example of Kalinga architecture with 180-feet high main spire and intricate stone carvings. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple complex houses several smaller shrines, depicting deities and religious figures.

Located near the Lingaraj Temple, Kedar Gauri Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Kedar) and Goddess Parvati (Gauri). It is renowned for its peaceful surroundings and exquisite stone carvings. The two holy ponds in the complex, Kedar Kund and Gauri Kund, are believed to possess spiritual powers.

Raja Rani Temple is famed for its exquisite sculptures and unique design. The temple is without a presiding deity and with no active worship. Built in the 11th century, it showcases the blend of architectural artistry through detailed carvings of couples, guardians, and various deities. Constructed of sandstone and often compared to Khajuraho temples, the temple features elegant spires and carvings.

A 10th-century gem Mukteshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is celebrated for its ornate archway and carved torana (gateway). It is known for its blend of Buddhist, Jain, and Hindu architectural influences. Its compact size, fine details, intricate carvings and depiction of religious narratives and figures make it standout in Kalinga architecture.

Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves are historical rock-cut structures dating back to the 2nd century BCE. These caves, once Jain monasteries, feature inscriptions, relief sculptures, and meditation cells. The caves’ intricate carvings depict Jain deities, royal patrons, and nature-inspired motifs.

After full day sightseeing of Bhubaneswar, return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2

Bhubaneswar - Konark - Puri

After breakfast in the hotel, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Morning after Breakfast guests will proceed to Puri. On the way visit, Konark, Visit Ramachandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach and Konark Temple.

Ramachandi Temple, located on the banks of the Kusabhadra River near Konark, is dedicated to Goddess Ramachandi, a form of Goddess Durga. This serene temple is a pilgrimage spot. The faithful believe the goddess to be the guardian deity of Konark, blessing the region and its people.

Chandrabhaga Beach, near the Konark Sun Temple, is a pristine, sandy stretch along the Bay of Bengal, famed for its scenic sunsets and spiritual significance. It is revered as a pilgrimage site, where the Chandrabhaga fair is held annually.

Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an architectural masterpiece dedicated to the Sun God. Built in the 13th century, the temple is shaped like a colossal chariot with intricately carved stone wheels and horses. Known for its stunning sculptures and erotic art, it exemplifies Kalinga architecture. Though partly in ruins, Konark remains a symbol of India’s artistic heritage and attracts thousands of admirers worldwide.

Hereinafter, drive towards Puri. After an hour-long drive, reach Puri. Puri, a coastal town in Odisha, is famous for the sacred Jagannath Temple and vibrant Rath Yatra festival, drawing millions of devotees each year. Known as one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, Puri combines spiritual depth with scenic beauty, thanks to its golden beaches along the Bay of Bengal. The town’s lively markets, traditional art, and beachside charm make it a popular destination for both pilgrims and tourists seeking a blend of culture and relaxation.

On arrival in Puri, check in at the hotel. Relax for a while and later proceed to visit Shri Jagannath Temple. It is an iconic 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a form of Lord Vishnu. Known for its distinct architecture, it stands as one of Hinduism’s holiest Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The annual Rath Yatra starts from here. With its towering spire and spiritual aura, Jagannath Temple embodies profound devotion and cultural heritage, making it a revered symbol in Indian spirituality.

After doing ‘darshan’ and attending ‘aarti’, return to hotel to spend some time on sea beach or in leisure in the hotel. Overnight stay is scheduled in the Puri hotel.

Day 3

Puri – Chilika Lake - Puri

After breakfast, leave for Chilika Lake. Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, is a biodiverse haven on Odisha’s coast, renowned for its migratory birds, serene islands, and rich marine life. The lake’s tranquil beauty and vibrant wildlife make it a cherished destination for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat.

Enjoy boat cruise on Chilika Lake (direct payment basis). This cruise reveals picturesque views, playful dolphins, and lush surroundings. Popular stops include the Nalabana Bird Sanctuary and Kalijai Island, steeped in local legend.

Late afternoon, drive back to Puri. On the way, stop at Alarnath Temple to have ‘darshan’ of the deity. Spend evening at sea beach. Overnight stay is scheduled in Puri hotel.

Puri - Dhauli – Bhubaneswar - Departure

Begin the day with an early morning check-out from the hotel in Puri, heading toward Bhubaneswar. En route, visit the vibrant Pipli craft market, renowned for its colorful appliqué art and handicrafts, perfect for picking up unique souvenirs. Continue to Dhaulagiri Shanti Stupa, a serene peace pagoda with historical and spiritual significance. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings and the historical insights. Afterward, proceed to Bhubaneswar, where guests will be dropped at the railway station or airport for their onward journey, concluding the tour with memories of Odisha’s rich heritage and scenic beauty.
