Located on Mathura Road, near Nizam-ud-din, this monument was built on the tomb of Abdur Rahim Khan-i-Khanan, the son of Bairam Khan, one of
Akbar's generals. Khan-i¬Khanan was an eminent poet who died in 1627. This is an example of the typical Persian style of architecture. It is raised on a square
terrace, with seventeen arched recesses on each side.
