It is a building showing a striking combination of the Mughal and the Rajput styles of architecture. The museum contains beautiful sculptures and bronze images. Tibetan antiques and paintings of the various medieval styles and a fine collection of coins and many relics of the Mauryan period (4th and 3rd centuries B.C.) are also some of the noteworthy treasures of this museum.
