Rewakund is a sacred lake. Rani Roopmati had it renovated and built a pleasure resort nearby. Among the other sights of Mandu are Ashrafi Mahal, the tomb of Mahmud Shah, Champa Baoli, vaulted rooms that remain cool even at the peak of summer, Hindola Mahal or the Swinging Palace-the sloping sidewalls of which give the impression of a swing, Dai Ka Mahal, a mausoleum with a novel design, and Malik Mughith's Mosque, enclosed by colonnades and a wall beautified by blue tiles and floral motifs.
