Higher up is a lake named after the sage Bhrigu, the father of Parasuram, an incarnation of Vishnu. Five kms on the national road to Leh, a natural spring of clear and cold water named after first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, which serves as a source of drink water. Nehru used to drink the water from this spring during his stay in Manali. This spring is believed to originate from Bhrigu Lake. Located up-high in the mountains.
