Located in the southeastern region of Rajasthan at the edge of the Malwa plateau, Jhalawar has rocky landscape with plenty of water, unlike much of Rajasthan. Jhalawar has a total area of 6928 km². About 21% of this area is forest area. The total length of the paved roads is about 1400 km. Of these, 94 km are in the National Highway area, and 202 km are among the state roads. The district is divided into seven areas. Erstwhile Jhalawal principality, now a cultural city has 1618 villages.
When to visit Jhalawar?
It should be remembered that between June and September, this region faces the rainy season. If you are comfortable with the rainy season then these months are also pleasant months to visit this particular neighborhood. It should be highly noted that the domestic and foreign tourists can visit this neighborhood between March and April. During the rest of the year, winter is also the best time to visit this particular neighborhood.
