Chhatri (umbrella) is a memorial of a king. The tradition of building chhatris is an ancient tradition. Its inspirational antiquity is traced into Buddhist stupas. During Islamic reign, constructing tomb got established as a religious practice. The chhatris (umbrellas) are located in a beautiful garden of flowers of the Scindia kingdom. These chhatris are centre of attraction for the tourists. There is a large verity of plants. There is a large beautiful tank between the umbrellas of late Sri. Madhav Rao Shindhia and Maharani Shakya Raje Shindia. There umbrellas are made of marbles. Here are located the Madhav Villas Palace, George Mahal, Boat Club and Bhadiya Kund etc. which are worth watching.
