Yet another temple for Lord Narasimha, it is situated on a hill, not far from Vijayanagaram, at a height of 800 feet. This is believed to have been founded by Prahlada. The body of the deity is covered with a coating of sandalwood paste that had been applied to him to calm his fury that killed Hiranyakashyap.
