Varanasi sightseeing – Sarnath – Prayagraj
Exploration of numerous facets of Varanasi begins early in the morning with a boat ride in the Ganga along the ghats. The ghats get alive in dawn hours. Watch the devotees taking holy dip in the sacred river, worshipping the Goddess Ganga and performing religious rituals.
After morning boat cruise on the Ganga, have bath in Ganga. Thereafter, visit
Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Godoulia. Nearby the
Kashi Vishwanath Temple are located Annapurna Devi Temple, Sakshi Vinayak Temple,
Vishalakshi Devi Temple and Shani Dev Temple. You can visit these holy shrines too. In the process of visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple, you will be having heritage walk of the narrow and buzzing alleys of Varanasi. This heritage walk will enable you to watch every single aspect of the culture of Varanasi.

In the afternoon, after ghats and temples tour, proceed to visit Sarnath. Sarnath is the testimony to ancient Indian progress in terms of knowledge, culture and civilization infrastructure. It is a Buddhist pilgrimage site where Siddhartha (Gautam Buddha) delivered his first sermon and initiated ‘dharmachakrapravartana’.
Soon after visiting Sarnath, you will be driven to Prayagraj immediately which is merely 100 km away and takes 2 / 3 hours (depending upon traffic condition) to reach. On arrival at Prayagraj you will directly be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
