At a little distance from Hyderabad, lies the fortified capital city of the Kakatiyas-Warangal. This dynasty is credited with some of the finest architectural splendors. Their legacy is still visible in Warangal. On the traveler's list, are the Thousand Pillar Temples, Warangal Fort and the Ramappa Temples.
