The cenotaphs of Ahar still boast of the courage and valour of Mewar's rulers. People visit this place to pay tribute to the great rulers. Ahar has no less than 19 cenotaphs of kings, who were cremated here. These memorials have strikingly beautiful columns raised on large platforms sheltered by curved roofs. The architecture of the roofs is adorned with ornaments that will remind you of the temples of the 15th century. On the right part of the platform of these architectures, you will find an image of Lord Shiva and a figure representing Maharana with his "Satis" (his women, who immolated in his cremation flames).
