Bhedaghat, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of India, is a part of Narmada River Valley which is having very old rocks of pre-historic time.
It is famously known for its stunning natural wonders and scenic beauty. Some of the key highlights include:
Marble Rocks: Massive 100 ft marble cliffs rise on either side of the Narmada River and create a spectacular gorge. These white and occasionally colored rocks have been carved over millennia by the river, forming striking formations.
Dhuandhar Falls: Named after the Hindi words 'Dhuan' (smoke) and 'Dhar' (flow), these falls, falling from a height of 98 feet, create a misty spray as the Narmada River plunges down, creating a visual spectacle akin to smoke rising from the waters.
Chausath Yogini Temple: This ancient temple, dedicated to the 64 Yoginis, is a significant historical and religious site. The temple offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the river.
Things to Do: A boat ride on the Narmada through the Marble Rocks is a must-do activity. The serene journey offers stunning views of the cliffs and an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty up close. Witnessing the power and majesty of the Dhuandhar Falls is an unforgettable experience. The falls are especially spectacular during the monsoon season when the water flow is at its peak. Visiting Chausath Yogini Temple provides not only spiritual solace but also a historical and architectural treat. Photography: The unique landscapes of Bhedaghat provide ample opportunities for photography enthusiasts. The interplay of light on the marble rocks and the misty spray of Dhuandhar Falls are particularly photogenic. There are several picnic spots along the river and near the falls where visitors can relax and enjoy nature.

Jabalpur Railway Station is the closest major railhead, connected to various parts of the country. It is well-connected by road.
