North India Wildlife Cultural Tour

On arrival at Delhi, you will be welcomed in traditional Indian way at the international airport and transferred directly to your hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, guided tour of Delhi will be conducted. The sightseeing will encompass Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandani Chowk (on manual rickshaw), India Gate, President House (obviously, from a distance), Akshardham Temple and Qutub Minar. During the course of city exploration, visit some famous markets as well. Later, in the evening, return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

After breakfast, drive early towards Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Jaipur was built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Designed according to Shilp Shastra - an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture - Jaipur follows a grid system. On arrival at Pink City of Rajasthan, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel to have lunch and relax a bit before sallying out for half-day guided sightseeing tour that includes Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace, Jantar Mantar (solar observatory) and Govind Dev Ji Temple (arti time). During the course of city exploration, visit some famous markets as well. Later, in the evening, return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

After breakfast, proceed on for a guided tour of Jaipur and its immediate surroundings. Amber Fort, about 13 kms from Jaipur city, is the first halt. Visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a fine example of Rajput style architecture (Medieval Hindu). An elephant ride leads to the top of the fortress and to the main entrance, where there are several elegant buildings. Visit the grand fort of Amber, strategically located with several palaces, courtyards, gardens and temples inside. Thereafter, proceed to visit Jaigarh Fort that houses a nice museum of weapons, water storage system, world’s largest canon and a ruined foundry. Now, return to Jaipur city centre. On the way back, stop in front of Jal Mahal to take few photographs. Have lunch in a nice restaurant of Jaipur. Explore local market after lunch. Thereafter, you will be visiting Central Museum (Albert Hall) and Birla Temple. Come back to hotel for overnight stay.

Having enjoyed scrumptious breakfast, drive towards Ranthambhore National Park, a tiger reserve in Sawai Madhosingh district of Rajasthan. On arrival, you will be directly transferred to the jungle resort. Rest of the day has been kept free for your leisure. Enjoy the nature in your vicinity. Overnight stay is scheduled in Ranthambhore resort.

Everyday two jungle safaris – morning & afternoon – are conducted here by the Government authorities looking after the affairs of Ranthambhore National Park. These game drives are done either by jeep or canter on sharing basis. Depending upon availability and interest regarding jeep or canter, you will be taken for jungle safari in morning & evening, accompanied by a professional naturalist. Overnight stay is scheduled in Ranthambhore resort.

After scrumptious breakfast, drive for Bharatpur, known for being a former Jat kingdom and, presently, Keoladev Bird Sanctuary. It’s a favorite abode of migratory birds, especially Siberian Cranes. The diversity of flora and fauna makes it a perfect place to relax and view leisurely a large variety of birds. On arrival at Bharatpur, check in at the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day has been kept free for your leisure and self-exploration of the bird sanctuary. Overnight stay is scheduled in Bharatpur.

In the morning, have rickshaw ride in the sanctuary to explore the sheer beauty, calmness and diversity of bird species. Come back to hotel, relax and depart for Agra. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the city built by the Mughal ruler Akbar. Visit Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the tomb of Shaikh Salim Chishti. Continue your drive towards Agra. On arrival at Agra, check in at the hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

Have delicious breakfast and proceed on for an excursion to Chambal Ghariyal Sanctuary where you can see crocodiles, ghariyals, turtles and large variety of migratory birds. Return to Agra in the evening to relax in Agra hotel.

Early in the morning, approximately close to dawn hours, Agra tour guide will take you to Taj Mahal, one of the major highlights of any north India tour. At the time of sunrise, Taj Mahal looks stunningly beautiful. It offers uniquely panoramic view. Visit Taj Mahal accompanied by the knowledgeable and friendly guide who will be explaining the minutest and unheard-of details about Taj Mahal and its making. Having explored Taj Mahal leisurely, return to hotel. Refresh, rest, relax, have breakfast and check out from the hotel. In enlightened company of Agra guide, visit Agra Fort and tomb of It-Mad-ud-Daulah. Late afternoon, explore local market. Later, visit Mehtab Bagh to view Taj Mahal during sunset from across River Yamuna. After sightseeing, in time you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Umaria. It will be an overnight journey.

Upon arrival at Umaria, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred directly to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh is famous for its dense forest and numerous water bodies that ideally foster wildlife. The jungle is known for large number of Royal Bengal Tigers with highest density, hence highest propensity to spot tiger. The forest can be explored by elephant safari and jeep safari. Upon arrival, check in at the pre-booked resort. The rest of the day has been kept free at leisure and accommodation at the hotel.

In Bandhavgarh, safaris are conducted in morning and afternoon. In the morning leave for a safari in the jungle to see the Royal Bengal tiger in its natural habitat. After lunch, we take again the elephant safari to explore to have the opportunity to spot tiger in case you have missed out on the previous visit. Remaining time is free for leisure. Overnight stay is scheduled in the hotel.

After delicious breakfast in Bandhavgarh resort, you will be driven to Kanha Wildlife Sanctuary. It takes about 6 hours of drive to cover distance of 215 kms. Declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1955, it had been incorporated under Tiger Project in 1974. On arrival, you will be directly transferred to the pre-booked resort to spend rest of the day in leisure and have overnight stay.

During early morning hours, a jeep safari will be conducted. The jungle safari will be by 04 wheel drive open jeep to start your search for wilderness of Kanha National Park. After enjoying morning Jeep Safari, come back to the resort & have your breakfast. The time till second safari late afternoon is kept free for leisure. Post-lunch, late afternoon, another jeep safari into Kanha tiger reserve is scheduled. In the evening, come back to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

After scrumptious breakfast in jungle resort, you will be driven to Jabalpur. In Jabalpur, board train to New Delhi. It will be an overnight journey.

On arrival at New Delhi station, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel to check in and relax.

In time, you will be transferred to New Delhi airport to board flight for your onward destination.
