Day 1

Day 2

Old & Central Delhi

Day 3

New Delhi sightseeing tour

Delhi has been seat of rule of various dynasties in India. History of Delhi dates back to time of Mahabharata. At that time, Delhi was known as Indraprastha. Since time immemorial Delhi has been the centre stage of several empires, so Delhi is today a cornucopia of monuments. The monuments of Delhi are gift from past generations which speak about history, achievements and culture of India. Luxury Golden Triangle Tour takes you to monuments which are true representative of India, particularly Delhi.

Today, the guided sightseeing tour of New Delhi will comprise visits to Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb & Lodhi Garden. Qutub Minar complex showcases ancient India's prowess in metallurgy. About two thousand years old rust-free iron pillar is testimony to that. Qutub Minar reveals the architectural acumen prevalent in early medieval era.

Day 4

New Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast, proceed for Jaipur, the fabled 'Pink City' of Rajasthan- the land of Maharajas (kings). Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan. On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and taken to designated hotel to check in and relax. Late afternoon, you will attend evening worship ceremony (Aarti) in Govind Dev Ji Temple, established by the royal family of Jaipur. It will be an altogether experience with ample exposure to Hindu religious practices and ethos. Return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 5

Jaipur tour

After breakfast, guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur will commence. You will be taken to Amber Fort in early hours of morning so that you can have Maharaja-like ride on an elephant from foothill to entrance gate of Amber Fort at the hilltop. Amber Fort is a must-see while on Jaipur tour. Built of sandstone and marble, Amber Fort comprises the niceties of Rajput and Mughal architecture. After visiting Amber Fort, return to Jaipur city wherein located Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal and bustling bazaars of Jaipur. Day 6

Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Today, after breakfast & pleasant stay in Jaipur, on 6th day of Luxury Golden Triangle Tour, drive towards Agra, the seat of Taj Mahal. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a must see tourist destination of every Golden Triangle tour itinerary. Fatehpur Sikri is home to still intact grand palatial buildings like Buland Darwaja, Jodha Bai Palace, Panch Mahal and Jama Masjid. Fatehpur Sikri was a small village but Akbar decided to shift Mughal capital to Fatehpur Sikri. So, a whole town of Fatehpur Sikri with mammoth and magnanimous architectural structures was built and inhabited; but due to paucity of drinking water for a large chunk of population, Akbar relocated the capital to Agra. Still, you can still see evidences of grand planning and execution. In the light of its historical backdrop, Fatehpur Sikri is called as deserted city. Buland Darwaja here is the largest gateway in the world.

After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, depart for Agra. On arrival at Agra, check in at the pre-booked hotel. Late afternoon, you will be taken to Mehtab Bagh across Yamuna to have splendid and picturesque view of Taj Mahal at the time of sunset. Photographers consider it as one of the rare opportunity.

Day 7

Agra tour – New Delhi

Second day in Agra is very special and highly sought for. Today, you will be witnessing the world famous Taj Mahal, the epitome of love built in white marbles of Makrana. Taj Mahal changes its color as per movement of sun. The changing tinges make the beauty of Taj Mahal more captivating. But, the Taj Mahal looks most stunning at dawn hours. To make your visit a fulfilling experience, you shall be taken to Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise. Taj Mahal, one of the 'Seven Wonders of the World', is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Taj Mahal was conceived and built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. Take your own time to view Taj Mahal.

After exploring Taj Mahal, return to hotel to refresh, relax and have leisurely breakfast. Post breakfast; proceed on to visit Agra Fort. Agra boasts of having two UNESCO World Heritage sites- Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Present day Agra Fort, a fortress built of red sandstone, is result of contributions of Akbar, Jahangir & Shah Jahan. The history of Agra Fort, the then a brick fortress, goes back to Rajput rule of Agra, well before 10th century.

After visiting Agra Fort, explore local market. Enjoy free time by exploring Agra's rich heritage of handicrafts in its market. Hereinafter, depart for New Delhi. On the way, at the very outskirt of Agra, you will have a stop-over at Baby Taj (tomb of It Mad ud Daula). The tomb of It-Mad-ud-Daula is also built of white marble and was precursor to Taj Mahal.

Day 8

Delhi - Departure
