This private tour takes a guest to narrow alleys of 400 years old market of Chandani Chowk, modern shopping complexes, ancient monuments, museum, marvelous temples etc. It introduces a tourist with the culture of Delhi. Among the prominent monuments and places covered in the Leisure Tour of Delhi are Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, President House, Parliament House, Qutub Minar, Iron Pillar, Humayun’s Tomb etc. Manual rickshaw ride in Kinari Bazaar of Chandani Chowk included in the sightseeing tour will be a lifetime experience.

Day 1

Delhi arrival - transfer to hotel

On arrival at New Delhi airport, you will be greeted & assisted by our representative. He will meet you holding a placard with your name on it at the exit.

Delhi is the capital of India and its political and cultural center. Located on the banks of the River Yamuna, Delhi has been continuously inhabited since at least the 6th century BCE. Delhi emerged as a major political, cultural and commercial city along the trade routes between northwest India and the Gangetic plain. It is the site of many ancient and medieval monuments, archaeological sites and remains. When India gained independence from British rule in 1947, New Delhi was declared its capital and seat of government. Owing to the migration of people from across the country, Delhi has grown to be a multicultural, cosmopolitan metropolis.

You will be transferred to pre-booked New Delhi hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Old & New Delhi sightseeing tour

Have delicious breakfast in Delhi hotel and proceed on for Old & New Delhi sightseeing tour along with Delhi tour guide. The Old & New Delhi tour encompasses visit of Red Fort (remains closed on Monday), Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Akshardham Temple (remains closed on Monday), India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar, Sansad Bhavan. It will be relaxed and leisurely tour and help you understand ‘exoticism’ of India.

Delhi sightseeing tour is divided into two parts- morning and afternoon. During morning part of sightseeing, you will be visiting Old Delhi with its gargantuan Mughal monuments like Red Fort, Jama Masjid. During the course of Old Delhi tour, explore 400 years old but still a buzzing bazaar of Chandni Chowk. After Old Delhi tour, you will be driven to visit excellent piece of temple architecture- Akshardham Temple. On the way to Akshardham Temple, you will be having a de-tour to Raj Ghat, shrine of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation.

After sightseeing of Old Delhi, Raj Ghat and Akshardham Temple, you will be taken to a nice Indian restaurant to have sumptuous lunch. Post lunch, drive to see India Gate, President House & Parliament House. President & Parliament Houses can be seen only from outside and also from a distance.

Having visited India Gate and other government buildings, you will be taken to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a prominent Sikh temple.

During the course of whole day tour, you will be exploring nearby clusters of shops, showcasing excellent ethnic goods. Hereinafter visit Connaught Place, a modern market with colonial era market complex. After visiting famous monuments of Delhi, later in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

New Delhi sightseeing tour

Have delicious breakfast in Delhi hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing of New Delhi which is studded with several medieval era monuments, excellent museums, gardens and temples. You will be shown Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Lodhi Garden & ISCON Temple. First visit Humayun’s Tomb and Lotus Temple. After visiting museum and these two monuments, have lunch in a nice restaurant of south Delhi. Hereinafter, proceed for visiting Qutub Minar. After visiting Qutub Minar, move for Lodhi Garden and then ISKCON temple in Sant Nagar.

During the course of whole day tour, you will be exploring nearby clusters of shops, showcasing excellent ethnic goods. After visiting famous monuments of Delhi, later in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

New Delhi sightseeing tour - Departure

Have delicious breakfast in Delhi hotel and proceed for visiting National Museum. It will be an opportunity to get acquainted with various aspects of Indian civilization and culture. After visiting National Museum, have lunch in a nice restaurant and you will be transferred to New Delhi aiport to board flight for your onward destination.

  • Above rates are based on current exchange rate, fuel price, entrance fee, hotel rates and tax structure as applicable on the date of mailing the package proposal, however any change in these components beyond our control shall affect the cost accordingly.

    In case you are particular to stay with any preferred hotels, please do let us know and we will revise our cost accordingly.

  • If a particular hotel is stated in this travel proposal is not available, we will book you at an alternative hotel in the same category as the one stated with your consent and agreement.

  • We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

Payment Terms:

We would require 50% advance payment to secure your bookings and process the file. We accept bank transfers and payment by credit cards through PAYPAL international payment gateway only. Balance amount needs to be paid on arrival in India by cash, Traveller’s Cheques or credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to 4.88% bank fees.

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.

100% cancellation if cancelled 15 day or less.
