Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to Delhi to relish authentic India experiences. At the airport in Delhi, you should expect a company representative & a driver to take you to your beautiful, centrally located hotel. After smooth check in, rest and freshen up. Depending upon the time of your arrival, you will either have rest and sound sleep or explore on your own the hotel environment, e.g., the fragrant spice markets of Chandani Chowk and the modern Connaught Place! Overnight stay is scheduled in Delhi hotel .

Day 2

Delhi tour

After breakfast in Delhi hotel, proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi – old & new. The monuments on the chart of Delhi exploration are Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in central Delhi; Red Fort & Jama Mosque in old Delhi, Akshardham Temple in east Delhi, India Gate & President House in the heart of Delhi and Qutub Minar in south India. The prime markets like Chandani Chowk, Connaught Place, Khan Market etc will be visited during the course of sightseeing. Overnight stay is planned in Delhi hotel.

Day 3

New Delhi – Mandawa

The day and destination is meant for imparting authentic village life experience without compromising on comfort. Stay in a mud hut is going to be a special feature. After your first impressions of vibrant India in Delhi, you will be driven to the Shekhawati Rajasthan, located in northern side of the state. Built in the traditional style yet cozy mud huts you can truly relax and unwind. The comfortable cottages are authentically decorated. The fresh pool is for a swim. Day 4

Mandawa tour & village exploration

Stroll around the stunning streets of Mandawa. Famous for its intricately designed facades, ornate decorations on the walls of Mandawa havelis and houses make it an ‘ópen art gallery’. Decorated walls of majority of houses in Mandawa spell for themselves and their patrons. The paintings and decorations on the walls are colorful and beautiful. Day 5

Mandawa – Jaipur - explore Jaipur market

Relaxed and leisurely stay and exploration of Mandawa, after having scrumptious breakfast , you will be driven to Jaipur - the Pink City of Rajasthan. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is founded and established in a chessboard-like pattern by Maharaja Jai Singh II. It was built in 1728. The Pink paint on the houses and shopping arcades of the old Jaipur gave the city the name "Pink City". The bustling city will enchant you with its colorful diversity. On arrival at Jaipur, you will directly be transferred to Jaipur hotel. Assisted by local representative in check in process, have some rest, freshen up and then move in the afternoon on your own, naturally with friendly, experienced and helpful chauffeur to have a first impression of Jaipur. Listen to the hustle and bustle, watch the beautiful garments of the locals and see the exceptional road is crossed by rickshaws, elephants and all sorts of unfamiliar vehicle. Enjoy a sweet chai (tea) in a cafe and join the friendly inhabitants of the city, or stroll through the streets and take a first look at the beautiful architecture. Jaipur city tour & Amber Fort

Today you will be visiting various aspects and architectural gems of Jaipur. After early breakfast, the first attraction to be in Jaipur is Amber Fort, about 13 kms from the city centre of Jaipur. At Amber Fort, you are taken to the main gateway of fort at the hilltop on an elephant back. This Indian Maharaja-like elephant ride will be a lifetime experience. The great fortress offers stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The fort was being renovated and impressed with a truly majestic appearance. In the afternoon visit the City Palace, a remarkable collection of historic miniatures, weapons and splendor gowns, is one of the highlights of Jaipur. Opposite the palace is the Observatory (Jantar Mantar), whose construction began in 1748 under the tutelage of Jai Singh. You will also visit the Palace of Winds – Hawa Mahal. Day 7

Jaipur- Ranthambhore

Rich heritage of diverse flora and fauna of India can be seen while you will be visiting Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. After enjoying delicious breakfast in Jaipur hotel, you will proceed for Ranthambhore National Park. On arrival, you will check in at the forest lodge/ resort, with welcome drink in honour. Depending upon your previously expressed desire, you can be provided safari tent accommodation in Ranthambore. Finally, you get the opportunity to meet the diverse wildlife of India in more detail. In the late afternoon you will visit the Ranthambore Fort. At dusk you see here with a bit of luck monkeys and parrots. If the weather you experience a breathtaking red sunset. In the subsequent drive through the countryside you may have the good fortune to observe a Tiger in the hunt and gazelles. Overnight stay has been scheduled in the national park.

Day 8

Jungle safari or game drives

Getting early up in the morning today is worthwhile. Shortly before sunrise, you are taken on a game drive. On the way to a safari in the Ranthambhore National Park, experience the wildlife of India's first hand! Especially in the morning, one can often find one’s happy moment by observing a tiger on the banks of a water-pond, drinking or getting ready to retreat to its cave. But not only Tiger will impress you on this safari. Also, gazelles, crocodiles, sambar deer and monkeys you might see. After a short rest and refreshment break at noon it's afternoon with Safari on. Day 9

Ranthambhore – Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (240 kms/ 5 hrs)

After breakfast in Ranthambhore resort, drive to Bharatpur, an intriguing underwater world. Today you travel further into the former hunting ground of past Maharajas. Bharatpur is a world-renowned mecca for birdwatchers from around the world. The water-rich region is home to many endangered birds. Again, you might find several species of flora and fauna that you could have seen in Ranthambhore as well. Snakes, lizards, boars etc may be easily spotted. On arrival at Bharatpur, you will be checking in at one of the pre-booked erstwhile hunting lodges turned into cozy hotels. In the afternoon, you can customize according to your taste & interest. Day 10

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary- Fatehpur Sikri- Agra (65 kms/ 01 hrs)

On the way to Agra, while coming from Bharatpur, lies an historical town of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit Fatehpur Sikri today en route. The city was founded in the 16th century. Mughal emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri as a twin capital, in addition to Agra. But due to lack of drinking and potable water, he couldn’t move the capital in full-fledged manner to this town and later on again maintained Agra as the capital of Mughal administration. The largely abandoned city is now a World Heritage Site. Visit Panch Mahal and the well-preserved buildings that give an impression of the size and splendor of the city at the height of their power. Southwest of the palace stands the mosque Jama Masjid with the grave of Sheikh Salim Chishti. Next drive to Agra. On arrival at Agra , you will be directly transferred to Agra hotel. Day 11

Visit Taj Mahal & Fort – Varanasi (by train)

Visiting Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise and sunset is one of the most sought-after highlights of cultural, wild & rural North India tour. Today you will visit the world famous Taj Mahal (UNESCO World Heritage Site). See the beautiful buildings with their own eyes and take a moment for the impressive motif on a photo capture! Most customers opt for a personal guide for a visit to the Taj Mahal, although an audio tour Taj Mahal guide can also be hired. During the reign of the Mughal in the 16th and 17th centuries, Agra was the capital of India. The magnificent buildings of this city are reminders of that bygone era. After having sumptuous glimpse of Taj Mahal, return to Agra hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Thereafter, early noon, check out from Agra hotel and proceed to visit Agra Fort. Among other monuments, the magnificent Fort (UNESCO World Heritage) always attracts many visitors to the city.

After visiting fort, explore local market of Agra. Later on, proceed to Mehtab Bag to view Taj Mahal during sunset. Hereinafter, have dinner in a nice restaurant of Agra and get transferred to board Varanasi bound train. The onward journey happens this time in a very special way. Take the night train to the holy city of Varanasi. The train ride is probably your most authentic experience of India. Varanasi- Sarnath tour & Ganga Aarti

Arrive at the holy city of Varanasi during morning hours after overnight journey by an express train. Varanasi is the most sacred place of India. In the morning, you will reach the city and be transferred to your hotel. Here, relax a little and have scrumptious breakfast before departing for vising Sarnath. Sarnath, about 12 kms from city center, is a historical site. It is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon and thus initiated ‘dharmachakrapravartan’. Two grand stupas of Mauryan era (300 BC), remnants of pillaged monastery, Asokan pillar and well- maintained museum are worth watching and appreciating the zenith of civilizational progress. Other than that, visit Tibetan Buddhist monastery. Later on, return to Varanasi hotel. Have lunch and take rest for an hour or so. Then move along with Varanasi tour guide to see grand and mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on Dashashwamedh ghat of Varanasi. Overnight stay has been scheduled in Varanasi.

Day 13

Boat cruise & city & temples tour

It’s an absolute must to have a boat ride in Varanasi on the Ganges at sunrise. Today, quite early in the morning you are on the way to the ghat on the banks of the Ganges. Sail along the ghats and get another feel of authentic India. Watching women washing laundry by the river, meditating pilgrims and the smoke from the pyres will be an unforgettable experience. Experience firsthand the Indian traditions! Afterwards, you will return to hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Early noon, with guide, you will be taken for city & temples tour which included Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and Bharat Mata Temple. A Free Day in Varanasi- New Delhi

The city of Varanasi is ideal for a first exploration. Stroll through the streets and immerse yourself in the vibrant heart of Hinduism. Experience believers and pilgrims wash themselves in ritual ceremonies on the banks of the Ganges and meditate. Maybe you can take a rickshaw-city tour to experience the exotic diversity of the city. This day is entirely at your discretion. Throw yourself into the middle of Indian life! Explore the streets of the city, get in search of beautiful souvenirs, enjoy the delicious Indian cuisine or relax with a casual conversation with locals in the caffe. If you wish, we can organize for you on this day yet another tour. In the evening, travel by flight to return back to Delhi. On arrival at New Delhi, board flight for your onward destination.
