Day 1

Delhi arrival

On your arrival by international flight at Delhi airport, you will be welcomed and greeted in traditional Indian way. Our representative will give you transfer into the pre-booked hotel for night stay.

Day 2

Delhi city tour

The second day of Golden Triangle with Mumbai tour is beginning of sightseeing. In the company of professional and certified guide, Delhi city tour commences. First Delhi attraction to be stopped at is a Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib to experience India’s diversity and its beauty of cultural assimilation. Here observe the devotees offering prayer. Don’t miss to visit ‘langar’. Thereafter, drive to old Delhi, marked by Red Fort , Jama Masjid & Chandani Chowk, all built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. Meander through Chandani Chowk, the old market of Shahjahanabad which is now a picturesque bazaar, on a manually-pulled rickshaw. Continue with the visit of Raj Ghat , monument dedicated to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. It is the place of his cremation in January 31, 1948. Drive past British colonial era monuments like India Gate, President House and Parliament . India Gate is a monument built in 1931 in memory of martyred Indian soldiers of the First World War and the Afghan war. The walls of imposing memorial are etched with their names. Next, visit Akshardham Temple , located on the eastern bank of River Yamuna. Visiting Akshardham temple will be a fascinating experience. The last significant monument to be visited in Delhi is Qutub Minar . Later, in the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

Delhi – Agra – Agra city tour

Having breakfast in Delhi hotel, depart for Agra, the first capital of the Mughal in India. Agra can easily be termed as the treasure town of Mughal monuments. At the very outskirt of Agra is Tomb of It-Mad-ud-Daula . Agra tour guide will join you there and your sightseeing of previous Mughal capital starts. After visiting Baby Taj, you will be transferred to the hotel to check in, relax and again proceed on for sightseeing. Agra Fort and Taj Mahal are the world famous UNESCO World Heritage monuments are on chart of exploration. Taj Mahal, built of white marble and red sandstone, is the symbol of eternal love of a king for his wife. For more than two centuries, poets and travelers have been praising this majestic building whose famous silhouette is now the emblem of the country. It took 22 years to build Taj Mahal, the most visited monument of India. Built in 1565 by Akbar, Agra Fort is a truly fortified city. After city tour of Agra, explore local market. Later, in the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Agra- Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur

Enjoy delicious breakfast in Agra hotel, relax a bit and depart for Jaipur. On the way, you will halt at two historical places- Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri village . The deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri, located 40 kms from Agra, is a tourist attraction which is famous for its evolving grandiose Mughal architecture. Next halt will be at Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. Once it used to be capital city of Gurjar king Mihir Bhoj but has now reduced into a village. Day 5

Jaipur city tour

Jaipur city truly represent traditional and glorious Indian heritage in almost all forms of life. The flamboyant and colorful capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is also known as ‘Pink City’. History of Rajasthan, the land of warrior Rajput, is replete with unparalleled and glorious stories of bravery and courage. Its culture, architecture and heritage amply reflect it. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh-II, Jaipur is built in a planned manner, inspired by Hindu ‘Vastushastra’. The very foundation of Jaipur heralded its independence from the Mughal clutches. After breakfast, proceed on for visiting world renowned iconic monuments, market, cuisine, costumes, crafts etc. The first attraction is impressive Amber Fort, located on a hill and is climbed riding on an elephant back. Built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh, it is made of red sandstone and white marble. Amber Fort is a classic and romantic castle with a beautiful aura. A view of Lake Maota from the heights of Amber Fort is mesmerizing. Return to city centre to explore the Pink City. On the way, stop for a while to have few photographs of Jal Mahal. In the heart of the city is located City Palace, now converted into a museum of king’s costumes and weapons. The center of the palace is a seven-storey building called Chandra Palace, with beautiful views of the gardens and the city. Adjacent to City Palace is Jantar Mantar, a stone and metal-built solar observatory. It is still functional and gives accurate data. Next tourist attraction of Jaipur is fabulous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-story structure of pink sandstone. It was built in 1799 with a purpose that the ladies of the royal court could discreetly observe the activity of the busy market street without being seen themselves. Day 6

Jaipur- Mumbai – Mumbai city tour

Have relaxed breakfast in Jaipur hotel, check out and get transferred in-time to Sanganer airport to catch Mumbai-bound flight. On arrival at Mumbai, the commercial capital of India, our representative will receive you and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Mumbai is on the west coast of India and has a natural harbor. The port of Mumbai handles more than half of India’s sea freight. Rest of the day has been kept free for your leisure and relaxation. You can go to Juhu beach or explore nearby market. Overnight stay is scheduled in Mumbai hotel.

Day 7

Mumbai – Elephanta- Mumbai city tour - Departure

Have early morning breakfast in Mumbai hotel and check out. Along with local professional guide, move to visit Elephanta rock-cut cave temples , devoted to Lord Shiva. Elephanta is a UNESCO World Heritage site and globally known for intricately carved sculptures. Elephanta is reached through sea by ferry boat or steamer. After exploring Elephanta, return to Mumbai mainland to visit Gateway of India & Prince of Wales Museum. Enjoy photo-stop at Dhobi Ghat, followed by charming Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach.
