Day 1

Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representatives who will assist you in your transfer to pre-booked hotel. The evening can be spent at discretion. Overnight stay is scheduled in Delhi hotel.

Day 2

Delhi tour

The whole day is scheduled for Delhi tour. Post breakfast, along with Delhi tour guide, explore spectacular sites of Delhi which include a wonder of red sandstone, Red Fort, which was former residence of the Mughal rulers for quite a long time; Jama Masjid, India’s biggest mosque in old Delhi; Qutub Minar which is classified in the world heritage of the UNESCO Site; the Lotus Temple, a flower-shaped temple of Bahai faithful; Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, a Sikh temple; India Gate , a war memorial that was commissioned in honor of the soldiers who lost their lives during First World War; and Akshardham Temple , true embodiment of Nagar style of temple architecture in north India. During visit to old Delhi, enjoy the beauty of Delhi's most vibrant market, Chandni Chowk with a tuk-tuk / manual rickshaw ride. Overnight stay is scheduled in New Delhi hotel.

Day 3

Delhi - Jaipur

Early morning, soon after breakfast, depart for Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will be transferred to pre-booked hotel. After a moment of relaxation, in friendly and knowledgeable company of Jaipur tour guide, visit the amazing structure of City Palace, the most beautiful example of Indo-Saracenic architectural styles and the fascinating museum that presents the artifacts of the bygone era, the astronomical observatory "Jantar Mantar" and the palace of the winds, Hawa Mahal. Explore the city's main markets to take home some of the finest crafts and more. Later, in the evening, attend magnanimous ‘aarti’ in Govind Dev Ji Temple. Overnight stay is scheduled in Jaipur hotel.

Day 4

Jaipur

After breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Start the day with ‘maharaja –like’ elephant ride at Amber Fort, perched on the hill overlooking Lake Maota Sagar. On a higher hill nearby is another gargantuan fort, named Jaigarh Fort, known for world’s largest canon, ‘Jaiban’. Visit the fort, and drive back to Jaipur city centre. On the way, see Panna Meena ka Kund, a stepwell with unique architecture; more than 400 year old old Jagat Shriromani Temple and Jal Mahal, an architectural beauty settled in the middle of Lake Man Sagar. In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani and enjoy delicious Rajasthani cuisine with cultural performances. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5

Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

After breakfast, depart for Agra. On the way, merely 70 km from Jaipur is an ancient village Abhaneri in Dausa district of Rajasthan. The village used to be capital of Gurjar kingdom about 1200 years ago. Abhaneri is renowned for Chand Baori and Harshat Mata Temple. An annual music & dance festival, preserving and fostering traditional arts, culture and folk music & dances of the region. After visiting Abhaneri, continue the drive to Agra.

En route, about 40 km prior Agra, stop at the ghost town of Mughals, Fatehpur Sikri which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and home to some of the remarkable architectural wonders of yesteryear, including Jama Masjid, which is one of the most Grand Mosques in India, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, Jodha Bai Palace and more . After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, continue the drive to Agra. On arrival in Agra, you will be transferred to pre-booked hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6

Agra – New Delhi

Agra is synonymous with Taj Mahal. It is said that during dawn hours Taj Mahal looks really wonderful & mesmerizing. The Taj Mahal, undoubtedly, is the most famous monument of India where Indo-Muslim art under the Mughal dynasty can be seen. Taj Mahal is a shiny white marble mausoleum built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to commemorate his eternal love for his late wife Mumtaz. After visiting Taj Mahal, come back to hotel to refresh and have breakfast. In knowledgeable company of the guide, explore the city of Agra, one of the places where you can admire the best Mughal art and architecture. Agra Fort and It Mad ud Daula Tomb are other remarkable structures to drool. Also explore the local markets of Agra and enjoy the delights of the lip-licking delicacies of Agra. Late afternoon, depart for Delhi. On arrival at New Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7

New Delhi – Haridwar - Rishikesh

In the morning, depart for Rishikesh, the world capital of Yoga, by road. On the way, stop at Haridwar, one of the sacred cities of the Hindus. Spend some time at Har-Ki-Pauri and attend evening Ganga Aarti in Haridwar, prayers to the sacred River Ganges. Late in the evening, reach Rishikesh and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8

Rishikesh – Yoga Session - 1

Rishikesh is the land of Yoga, hermits and sages. Yoga classes and sessions take place early in the morning and comprise ‘aasanas’ & meditation skills. As per the schedule of the Yoga centre, you will be taken to attend the Yoga classes to learn tips for healing, relaxation & rejuvenation of mind, body & soul. After Yoga session, come back to hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities. If interested, you can attend evening Ganga Aarti on the ghats of Ganga in Rishikesh. Overnight stay is scheduled in Rishikesh.

Day 9

Rishikesh – Yoga Session - 2

As per training class schedule, you will be taken to Yoga centre to learn and practice ‘aasanas’, breathing exercises, Yoga Nidra, meditation etc.

Come back to hotel to relax and have breakfast. Thereafter, visit Triveni Ghat on the banks of the Ganga. Ganga Aarti of Triveni Ghat is very famous and a large number of devotees gather to participate in the religious ritual daily.

Walk on Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge across Ganga, on the way to Badrinath. Originally, there was a hanging bridge of jute ropes till 1889. The present bridge, at the same site, was rebuilt with iron ropes. It is believed that Lord Ram's brother Laxman crossed the river here on a jute rope. On the west bank, there is a Laxman temple also.

Parmarth Niketan Ashram is certainly a not-to-be-missed place. It is truly a spiritual haven, lying on the holy banks of the Ganga in the lap of the lush Himalayas. It is the largest ashram in Rishikesh. Ashram offers clean, pure and sacred atmosphere beatified by beautiful gardens. Overnight stay is scheduled in Rishikesh hotel.

Before returning to hotel, visit Geeta Bhawan, a highly sacred temple adjacent to Laxman Jhula. Overnight stay is scheduled in Rishikesh.

Day 10

Rishikesh – Yoga Session - 3

Again attend the Yoga class in the morning to practice meditation, ‘Pranayam’, ‘aasanas’ and ‘vyayam’. Pranayam is an advance breathing sciece & exercise. Post Yoga session, come back to hotel to refresh and have breakfast. Later you will be taken to Vashishtha Gufa (cave). Vashishtha was a famous sage of ancient India. He was ‘guru’ & ‘kulpurohit’ (priest of royal family) of King Dashrath of Ayodhya, father of Lord Ram. Many saints and people still come here to indulge in transcendental meditation. The cave is located amidst serene ambience. The route to the cave passes through rafting and camping centres.

Later in the evening, come back to hotel to rest of the time in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

Day 11

Rishikesh – Yoga Session - 4

As per the schedule, you will be taken to Yoga class to learn and enjoy Vipaasana, ‘aasanas’, meditation and curative Yoga. Rest of the day has been kept free for your leisure. Overnight stay is scheduled in Rishikesh hotel.

Day 12

Rishikesh – (Yoga Session - 5) - New Delhi - Departure

On the last day of Golden Triangle with Haridwar Rishikesh Tour, attend Yoga session, come back to hotel to refresh and have breakfast. Early noon, depart for New Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, you will directly be transferred to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.
