Visit Agra, Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (245 kms- 05 hrs- by car)
Today, you will a glimpse of the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built by Shah Jahan
to immortalize his love for wife Mumtaj Mahal. Early morning proceed to Taj Mahal to discover the beauty of the white marble
architecture of Taj Mahal at sunrise. Besides the symmetry of glowing marble, explore the intricate carvings on the walls of
the Taj Mahal. Pose photo with Taj, it will be a more dynamic and possessed memorabilia of your India tour.
Having seen Taj Mahal, return to hotel, relax, refresh, have breakfast and move for visiting Agra Fort, one of the masterpieces
of Mughal architecture. There are palaces, halls, gardens inside the fort. Akbar started the construction of the fort and was
completed by Shah Jahan. The interiors of the palace are decorated with stone sculptures and other forms of Mughal arts.
Now, move towards Jaipur. On the way to Jaipur, about 40 kms from Agra is situated the “ghost city” of Fatehpur Sikri.
The Fatehpur Sikri was Akbar's former capital. It is said that Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri, when he was rewarded with a son
after blessing of a fakir Salim Christi. Fatehpur Sikri was left over four centuries after it was abandoned due to lack of water.
Thanks to the highly durable red sandstone with which monuments of Fatehpur Sikri were built and so remain well preserved.
It is a fascinating place to explore.
Then continue driving to the pink city and on arrival you will be transferred to Jaipur hotel for overnight stay.
