Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar
Srinagar is the capital city of Jammu & Kashmir. Srinagar is also known as “Paradise on Earth” & “Venice of Asia”. Srinagar, nestled in the heart of the Kashmir Valley, is a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. With its picturesque Dal Lake, houseboats, and Mughal gardens, the city is a visual delight. The historic Jamia Masjid (built on a Buddhist temple) and Shankaracharya Temple reflect its diverse heritage. Known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and vibrant markets, Srinagar offers a unique shopping experience. Despite occasional tensions, the city remains a symbol of resilience and charm, drawing visitors to its enchanting landscapes and warm hospitality.
On arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be received by the representative of Optima Travels and transferred to Srinagar hotel / Shikara for overnight stay.
Day 2
Srinagar sightseeing Tour
Have leisurely breakfast in the hotel / ‘shikara’ and proceed on for guided sightseeing tour of Srinagar which primarily includes Cheshmashahi (the royal spring), Nishat Bagh (The Garden of pleasure) , Shalimar (The Abode of Love) & famous Shankaracharya Temple. Cheshmashahi, with its bubbling springs, is a Mughal garden oasis. Nishat Bagh, a symphony of terraced lawns and vibrant flowerbeds, offers breathtaking views of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Range. Shalimar Bagh, the "Abode of Love," captivates with its three cascading terraces adorned with fountains and pavilions, reflecting the grandeur of Mughal architecture. The Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill, provides a spiritual retreat, commanding panoramic views of Srinagar. Day 3
Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (60 km one way)
After breakfast, depart for a full day excursion tour of Gulmarg, 8700 feet above sea level. The actual name of Gulmarg was Gaurimarg (the path that Goddess Parvati / Gauri traversed). After Islamic invasion and Muslim dominance, the original name got changed to Gulmarg which means “Meadow of Flowers”. A ski resort was established here in 1927. The picturesque beauty of Gulmarg entices the tourists from all across the globe. The Gulmarg Gondola is Asia's second longest cable car ride. There is a famous Golf Course which is one of the highest 18 holes golf courses in the world at an elevated altitude of 2,650 meters. Gulmarg is an absolute delight for nature lovers and adventure seekers. You can enjoy Gondola ride on direct payment basis.
Late afternoon, return to Srinagar to have overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4
Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar (90 km one way)
After breakfast, depart for Pahalgam, a beautiful hill resort in Kashmir. Pahalgam serves as the base camp and starting point for the pilgrims who are on the annual pilgrimage to Amarnath, the naturally emerged ‘shivalingam’. Pahalgram, also called ‘village of shephards’, is famous for Liddar valley and its scenic beauty. It’s located in the high Himalayas. On the way to Pahalgam, a traveller visits the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th century) & Martand Temple (Sun Temple). It provides an ideal setting for hiking, trekking, and fishing. Pahalgam is a popular destination for Indian film industry and famous for some trekking routes.
Late afternoon, return to Srinagar to have overnight stay in the hotel.

Srinagar – New Delhi (by air)
After breakfast leave for Srinagar Airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
