9 Days Wildlife India Tour is a jungle journey with sole objective of exploration of wildlife in India. This itinerary is exclusively dedicated to forests, bio-diversity and jungle safaris. Full of adventure, Wildlife India Tour offers plenty of opportunity to visit best of India’s tiger and rhino wildlife sanctuaries and explore the vast diversity of flora and fauna. It incorporates several jeep and elephant safaris to spot tigers, rhinos, deer, bisons, leopards, elephants, sambar, avions etc in their natural ambience. It is worth mentioning that this tour is exceptional as it doesn’t involve any sightseeing of cultural and historical destinations. The jungle journey takes a wildlife enthusiast to three national parks- Kaziranga National Park, Kanha National Park & Bandhavgarh National Park. The tour commences from and ends at New Delhi but can be customized as per special needs of the travelers.

Day 1

New Delhi-Guwahati (by air) - Kaziranga (By Car)

Upon arrival at New Delhi airport around mid night, Optima Travels representative will meet you and give transfer to the first flight to Guwahati. Upon Guwahati arrival, our representative will meet you holding a placard with your name on it at the exit. From Guwahati airport, you will be driven directly to Kaziranga National Park, famous for its one-horn rhinos. Kaziranga National Park is located in Assam province of India. Earlier an endangered species, Indian Rhinos are now increasing in number due to proper protection and conservation efforts of Indian government. Spread over an area of 430 sq kms and located in the basin of Brahmaputra River, Kaziranga National Park is primarily visited to spot Indian Rhinos but it charms a wildlife enthusiast with a great diversity of flora and fauna comprising elephants, Indian bisons, swamp deer, sambhars, hog deer, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, leopard-cats, hog, badger, capped langoor, hillocks gibbons, jackals, porcupines, python, pelicans, ducks, hornbills, ibis, cormorants, egrets, herons, black-necked strokes, lesser adjutant and ring detailed fishing eagles. The landscape of Kaziranga National Park is marked by sheer thick forests, elephant grass lands, rugged reeds, mallow marshes and the shallow pools. It creates conducive habitat for rich biological diversity.

On arrival at Kaziranga National Park, you will be directly transferred to pre-booked jungle resort to spend rest of the day in leisure and have over night stay therein.

Day 2

Kaziranga exploration

Most interesting activity in the morning will be an hour long exploration of Kaziranga wildlife sanctuary by riding on the back of a trained elephant. Viewing Rhinos from elephant’s back is a pleasant experience. Early morning, around 5 AM, you would be woken up to be ready for exotic elephant ride. The elephant safari starts at 05.30 AM and lasts till 06.30 AM. After elephant ride, come back to hotel for breakfast. Enjoy the nature and rejuvenating ambience. Post lunch, you will move out for Jeep safari, a very exciting trip with full of adventures and surprises. In this jeep safari, you will be exploring Kohora zone of Kaziranga National Park. After exploration of jungle and spotting wildlife, return to jungle resort to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

Day 3

Kaziranga Rhino Land (Bagori & Burhapahar Range)

Today, you will be exploring two different zones of Kaziranga National Park by means of jeep safaris. Two jeep safaris have been planned. The first one in the morning and another one post-lunch. After breakfast in the hotel, proceed on an extensive jeep safari to Agratoli / Bagori zone. For about three hours of excursion, having sumptuously explored exotic wildlife and watched animals from a short distance, return to resort to relax and enjoy delicious lunch. Post- lunch, be ready for the next trip to Burhapahar zone. It again will be an exploratory excursion. Later, return to resort to enjoy cultural evening and delicious Assamese cuisines at dinner. Hope you will able to enjoy most of it. Overnight stay has been scheduled in the resort.

Day 4

Kaziranga-Guwahati - Mumbai (by Air)

After hearty breakfast in the hotel, check out from Kaziranga resort and depart for Guwahati. Meandering through hilly roads, reach Guwahati airport to board flight for Mumbai . On arrival at Mumbai airport, you will be received and transferred to Mumbai hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5

Mumbai-Nagpur (by Air) - Kanha (by car)

Having scrumptious breakfast in Mumbai hotel, depart for Mumbai airport to board flight for Nagpur, the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Nagpur is the nearest airport to Kanha National Park. On arrival at Nagpur, you will be received by our representative who will introduce you with the tour driver. You will be directly driven to Kanha National Pak. Kanha National Park lies in Madhya Pradesh of India. About 165 kms from Jabalpur, Kanha National Park is known for sal and bamboo forests, grasslands and streams. One of the best National Parks of India, Kanha spreads over 940 sq kms Kanha Wildlife Sanctuary, a Project Tiger Reserve, harboring an abundance of wildlife species, enjoys the reputation of a well-maintained and tourist-friendly National Park. There are over 200 species of birds, making Kanha a bird watcher’s paradise as well. Kanha is one place where you can be almost certain of spotting tiger in its natural habitat.

On arrival at Kanha, you will be directly transferred to pre-booked hotel. Check in at the resort and spend the rest of the day in leisure. Overnight stay has been scheduled therein.

Day 6

Kanha National Park exploration

There are four core zones - Kisli, Mukki, Kanha & Sarhi. Every day jeep safaris are conducted in two shifts - morning (Sunrise to 11:00 AM) & evening (02:00 PM to Sunset). The jeep accommodates 06 tourists, one driver and one naturalist. There will be an early morning wakeup call to move out to board the 04 WD open jeep to start your search for wilderness of Kanha National Park. Having explored jungle during the morning session of safari, return to the resort & have your breakfast. Enjoy free time for leisure. Again, afternoon, another jeep safari into core zone of Kanha tiger reserve will take place. Thereafter, return back to jungle resort, having explored dense forests of core zone. Have dinner and & stay overnight at resort.

Day 7

Kanha Natonal Park-Bandhavgarh (by car)

After breakfast in the jungle resort, check out and depart for your next destination of sheer wilderness- Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Bandhavgarh is having repute of having highest tiger density among all tiger reserves of India. Naturally, it offers copious opportunity to spot tigers. 250 kms long journey will take about 05 hours to reach Bandhavgarh. Bandhavgarh is situated in Shahdol district amongst outlying hills of the Vindhyan range. The tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the densest in India and offers perhaps the best chance in the world of seeing this elusive cat. Bandhavgarh is densely populated with other species: the great Gaur or Indian Bison can be seen with ease as they come on to the meadows to graze at dusk, sambar and barking deer are common sight, Nilgai are to be seen in the more open area of Bandhavgarh National Park. There are also many species of birds to be seen in the park. Spread over 437 sq kms of vast area, Bandhavgarh National Park, before declared as a National Park, was a game preserve of the king of Rewa. Still, jungle retreat of the king of Rewa, a small palace in the jungle, has now been converted into a luxury hotel, being managed by the Taj Group of Hotels. Earlier, Bandhavgarh was famous for being the sole habitat of white tigers.

On arrival at Bandhavgarh National Park, you will be directly transferred to the pre-booked resort. Having checked in at the resort, spend the rest of the day in leisure. Lunch and dinner are scheduled in the resort. Overnight stay is scheduled in Bandhavgarh hotel.

Day 8

Bandhavgarh exploration

Early morning wakeup call to move out to board the 04 WD open jeep to start your search for wilderness of Bandhavgarh National Park. Every day the jeep safaris are performed in two shifts—Morning (6:30 to 11:00) & evening (14:30 to 17:30). There are three tiger zones –Tala, Magdhi and Khitauli. The highest density of tiger and hence propensity to spot them are higher in Tala & Magdhi zones.

After morning Jeep Safari, come back to the resort & have your breakfast. Spend your free time in leisure. Afternoon, another jeep safari into the forest is scheduled to make a deeper penetration. Evening, come back to resort. Spend evening in leisure, have delicious dinner & stay overnight at resort.

Day 9

Bandhavgarh-Jabalpur (by car)- New Delhi (by air) - Departure

After early morning breakfast in the hotel, our representative will meet you and give transfer to Jabalpur airport to board the flight for New Delhi. On arrival at New Delhi airport, again board a flight for your onward destination…

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.
