Day 1

On arrival at Cochin (Kochi) airport, you will be received by our representative and driven to the reserved hotel. After speedy and smooth check in, unwind and relax a bit. Sightseeing and exploration of Cochin on the first day of Kerala tour will be carried out in the friendly & knowledgeable company of a guide.

Cochin or Kochi, one of the best natural harbors in the world, has been since several thousand years a centre of trade and commerce with major civilizations of the world- past & present. Therefore, it’s aptly called as commercial capital of Kerala. Guided sightseeing tour of Cochin includes historical monuments such as Dutch Palace, Kochi Fort, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and spice market. Later, return to Cochin hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 2

Cochin-Munnar

Munnar is a hill resort in Kerala. Endowed with pleasant greenery all around, Munnar is famous for nature tourism. Located at 1600 meter above sea level, Munnar happens to be in the "Valley of Teas". Day 3

Munnar sightseeing tour

After leisurely breakfast, proceed on for exploring Munnar. Among prominent tourist attractions in Munnar are Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Eco-Point, old Munnar town, and Tata Tea Museum. Eravikulam National Park is known for endangered mountain goat Nilgiri Tahr. While exploring through the town, do not miss to notice the small mountain goats happily grazing fresh grass almost pretending as if they were exploring the beauty of nature too! The road to these tourists destinations pass through tea and spice gardens. A visit to Tata Tea Museum reveals the origin and evolution of tea-plantation in this region. Day 4

Munnar-Thekkady

After scrumptious breakfast in Munnar hotel, drive towards Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The entrance to the jungle is at Thekkady and most of the dwelling amenities are located here. Thekkady is most visited by the adventure-seekers willing to explore jungle life. On arrival, check in at reserved resort / hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary was part of Project Tiger, initiated in 1974 to bring out Royal Bengal Tigers from the realm of endangered species. It is known for Indian elephants, wild boar, leopards and, obviously, tiger. The large variety of flora and fauna housed within the sanctuary completely surprise the visitors. Later, in the afternoon, you will be cruising on the artificial lake of Periyar wildlife sanctuary to watch and observe the marvelous elephant herds and other wildlife species. Day 5

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

The second day in Thekkady is aimed at leisurely enjoying the nature, Ayurveda massage & cultural performance. In order to enjoy the colorful flora and fauna of the jungle, one can opt for any of the two modes-- first, you can opt for Plantation Eco Tours to be conducted by the District Tourism Information Office at Thekkady in Kumily. The Plantation Eco Tours offer a deeper peep into cardamom, pepper, coffee and tea plantations, tea factories, tribal settlements and the surrounding hill regions (Optional); second, explore Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary by opting for half an hour elephant ride in the jungle. The elephant ride/ safari is organized by the forest department, Thekkady. The elephant rides can be taken during 10:00 to 17:00 hrs (Optional). After jungle exploration, you can experience & enjoy Ayurvedic massage in the resort itself. Evening can be utilized by viewing Kairali Martial Art or Kathakali Dance performance. Kairali is a 2000 years old martial art tradition whereas Kathakali is a classical dance form. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady hotel.

Day 6

Thekkady – Alleppey

Alleppey- Kovalam Beach

Day 9

Kovalam – Trivendrum - Kovalam

The morning hours are solely meant for beach leisure. Spend maximum time relaxing on the beach. Enjoy sumptuous culinary delicacies in the hotel. Early afternoon, a guided tour of Thiruvananthapuram will take place. The primary tourist attractions will be Padmanabha Swami Temple & Nappier Museum . Entry of non-Hindus is not allowed in the temple. The museum was established in 1855. In 1874, the old Museum Building was demolished and foundation for the new building was laid. The new building was named after Lord Napier, the Governor of Madras from 1866-1872. Early in the evening, return to Kovalam hotel to relax and spend night in the hotel.

Day 10

Kovalam – Trivendrum – Departure

Have scrumptious breakfast in Kovalam hotel and spend morning hours on serene beaches of Kovalam. Later, early noon, you will be transferred to Thiruvananthapuram airport to board flight for your onward destination.
