Day 1

Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, the capital city of Indian Republic, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel. The car and chauffeur will remain with you throughout the tour. The day is free for relaxation and leisure. Overnight stay is planned in New Delhi hotel.

Day 2

Old & New Delhi tour

You will be contacted by Delhi tour guide in the lobby of the hotel. After breakfast, proceed on for an extensive sightseeing and exploration of Delhi – historical monuments, temples, memorials and markets. The first monument to be visited is Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Connaught Place. Worship rituals of the Sikh devotees and ‘langar’ will be worth watching. Old Delhi, famous for Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandani Chowk, will be the next stop of sightseeing. Chandani Chowk, former Imperial Avenue of Mughal royalty, is now the busiest shopping center in the city. Stroll through Chandani Chowk and savor the atmosphere of an oriental bazaar. Chandani Chowk will be seen riding on a man-pulled rickshaw. Further, imposing Akshardham Temple will be visited. It is a magnificent temple built in modern era but based on traditional Indian Vastushastra and Nagara style of temple architecture. The last monument to be visited in Delhi will be Qutub Minar. 72 meters high sandstone-built Qutub Minar dates from the 12th century. It has been graciously carved by hand. Qutub Minar complex houses a famous rust-free Iron Pillar which has withstood the ravages of time since 1500 years. On the way to Qutub Minar, watch India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan from close quarters. Later, in the evening, return to hotel for leisure and sleep.

Day 3

Delhi – Agra – Agra tour

During Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour, everyday breakfast is part of the holiday package. Have scrumptious breakfast in the hotel and at the earliest, depart for Agra in an air-conditioned vehicle. The 210 kms distance between the two cities will be traversed in 4 hours. On arrival at Agra, make your way to pre-booked Agra hotel with all modern amenities. After getting checked in and relaxed for some time, proceed on for a sightseeing tour of the city of Agra. An English speaking professional local guide will accompany you during the tour. The highlight of this trip to Agra is, of course, the famous Taj Mahal. A UNESCO heritage, the Taj Mahal is built entirely of white marble by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece made of white marble that testifies the skill of 20,000 craftsmen gathered from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy. It took 21 years to complete this "Love Poem in Marble". Discover this historic monument and see the "pietra dura", marble screens and the cenotaphs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.

Have lunch after visiting Taj Mahal and head towards Agra Fort. Built of red sandstone, Agra Fort offers incredible views of the Taj Mahal and Yamuna River. Visit the Diwan-e-Aam (House of Commons), mosques and royal pavilions. Some of the buildings within are made of pure marble and have beautiful sculptures. Later, explore local market, watch artisans crafting marble souvenirs and indulge in shopping in Agra. Return to the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 4

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri -Jaipur

After breakfast, departure to Jaipur will take place. While proceeding to Pink City of Rajasthan, you will halt at two historical destinations- Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted Mughal town but nicely preserved till date and Abhaneri, a village that showcases 8th century AD Chand Baori, Harshat Mata Temple and traditional Indian village lifestyle. Fatehpur Sikri visit will be a guided tour whereas Abhaneri village will be self-exploration. Fatehpur Sikri was built by Akbar in 16th century. The township was built in honor of the great Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti who blessed Akbar with an heir. Visit the remarkable and well preserved buildings, such as the tomb of Salim Christi, the red sandstone structures of the Jama Masjid (the mosque), Panch Mahal and the Palace of Jodha Bai. The structures reflect a mix of Islamic, Hindu and Persian architectural styles. On arrival at Jaipur, check in at the hotel with well decorated rooms with all modern comforts. Day 5

Jaipur city tour

The whole day is planned for leisurely yet extensive sightseeing of Jaipur as the capital city of Rajasthan is blessed with world-renowned monuments, unique cultural colors & great crafts’ bazaar. Having taken scrumptious breakfast, accompanied by professional local guide, proceed on for visiting Amber Fort, perched at the top of a hill. Reach to the main gate of Amber Fort riding on an elephant’s back. It offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. Built by Rajput Raja Man Singh I in 1592, Amber Fort is a must-see for its mosaics and marble panels. Miniature paintings on the walls depict hunting and war scenes and offer a glimpse into the life of the king and his nobles. Visit the Sheesh Mahal where you will find a particularly beautiful room whose walls and ceiling are made with mirrors. The guide will lit a candle at Sheesh Mahal and the room gets illuminated as if there were a million diamonds. It's a show you'll never forget.

After visiting Amber Fort, return to Jaipur city. The Jaipur city centre is studded with several iconic monuments. Prominent among them are City Palace. Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Visit the City Palace, the residence of the royal family of Jaipur. One of part of City Palace is now a museum while the rest is occupied by the royal family. The palace is built in the style of a fortified campus. Continue to the Jantar Mantar , built by King Jai Singh II who had a deep interest in astronomy. It is the largest stone-built and a well-known observatory in the world. Located near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments like the sundial, and many of them are still in working order. Now visit Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, and take a few pictures of this beautifully crafted structure that overlooks a bustling market. The palace has a number of small windows and screens. The vaulted roofs with complicated sculptures were built so that women from royal families could look underneath, without being observed. After sightseeing of the monuments, explore local market that is known for its mind-boggling variety of crafts and ethnic products. Jewellery, carpets, rugs, printed cloths etc can be purchased from here. Shopping in Jaipur is definitely a lifetime experience. After shopping spree, you will be taken to Birla Temple to attend evening aarti ceremony. The presiding deities of the temple are Laxmi-Narayan. Later, in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6

Jaipur - Pushkar

After breakfast, depart for Pushkar, one of the pilgrimages of the Hindus. Pushkar is known for the only of Lord Brahma, the creator god among Hindu trinity. After three hours of driving, reach Pushkar and check in at the hotel. Pushkar guide will meet you in the lobby to take you for sightseeing tour that includes a visit to Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and local market in the alleys. Tourists prefer visiting Pushkar during world famous Pushkar Fair, a cultural fiesta and carnival. It’s a cattle fair but large number of cultural events. Spend the evening g at leisure. Overnight stay is planned in the hotel.

Day 7

Pushkar- Ajmer-Delhi (by Shatabdi Train) - Departure

Have breakfast and spend the morning in leisure. In time, you will be transferred to Ajmer railway station to board Shatabdi train for New Delhi.
