Day 1

Delhi arrival

On arrival at New Delhi airport, you will be greeted & assisted by our representative. Representative of Optima Travels will take you to the pre-booked Delhi hotel and ensure smooth check in at the hotel. As most of the international flights land in New Delhi during mid-night so, after check in at the hotel, have sound sleep in Delhi hotel to get out of jet-lag and rejuvenated to begin sightseeing next day on Historical Rajasthan Tour.

Day 2

Delhi sightseeing

The second day of Best of Rajasthan Tour in Delhi will be your first real exposure to exotic India. The political capital of India, Delhi, since the ages, has been political centre of tumultuous upheavals of north India. Company representative will meet you in the morning in the lobby of the hotel to get you introduced with Delhi tour guide. Have delicious breakfast in Delhi hotel and proceed on for full day sightseeing tour of Delhi along with Delhi tour guide. The Delhi tour encompasses Old Delhi and New Delhi. The sightseeing tour includes visit of Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Parliament House, President House, India Gate, Government buildings, Qutub Minar and Akshardham Temple. From touristic point of view, the sightseeing tour of Delhi has been segregated into two distinctive parts- Old Delhi sightseeing and New Delhi sightseeing. Old Delhi sightseeing takes one into memory bylanes of medieval India. Your Old Delhi tour experience gets enhanced when you ply through narrow alleys of more than 400 years old Chandani Chowk market on a manual rickshaw. Even after visiting a large cache of monuments, you will have ample time to explore culture, market and taste of Delhi. Delhi tour guide will help you have first hand feel of vibrant culture of Delhi. After visiting famous monuments of Delhi, later in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

New Delhi-Agra -Agra sightseeing

Have delicious breakfast in New Delhi hotel and depart for Agra. On arrival at Agra, you will be directly taken to pre-booked Agra hotel where representative of Agra and tour guide will meet and greet you. After smooth check in at the hotel and relaxing a bit, move along with Agra tour guide to visit famous monuments of Agra, namely-Agra Fort and Baby Taj (tomb of It-Mad-ud-Daula). Later, after visiting famous monuments of Agra, return to Agra city. Refresh and rest for some time. Late afternoon, move for viewing Mehtab Bagh, a Mughal era garden across River Yamuna, that offers excellent sunset-view of Taj Mahal for photography afficionadoes. In the evening, return to Agra hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Taj Mahal visit; Agra- Fatehpur Sikri- Abhaneri -Jaipur

The first monument a visitor tries to see in Agra is Taj Mahal but, at the same time, he/she prefers to behold Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise when, supposedly, Taj Mahal looks amazing. Keeping in view this desire of a guest, we have planned to take you to Taj Mahal on 2nd day of Agra tour . In the very early morning, approximately around dawn hours, you will be taken by Agra tour guide to Taj Mahal. The time of sunrise has been purposefully chosen so that you could see the Taj Mahal when it looks most stunning and beautiful.

After visiting Taj Mahal, return to Agra hotel. Have breakfast, refresh and move for Jaipur - the Pink City – the capital of Rajasthan. On the way to Jaipur, 35 kms from Agra is located deserted medieval town of Fatehpur Sikri . Fatehpur Sikri was built by Akbar on a grandiose scale to make it capital of his kingdom but due to paucity of potable water made him to re-look his plans. But the gargantuan and fine monuments are still well-preserved. Have a stop-over there and visit monuments-rich Fatehpur Sikri. The famous monuments of Fatehpur Sikri include Buland Darwaja, Jodhabai Palace, Salim Chishti Shrine and Jama Masjid.

After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, continue your drive to Jaipur. About 95 kms before Jaipur, is located a historical village of Abhaneri . This village tour will present before you ancient lineage of India in terms of cultural values, architectural gems and traditional rural lifestyle in villages of India. Abhaneri is a village about 95 kms from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Agra Road. A detour is well merited for its amazing stepwells or 'baoris' and Harshat Mata Temple . The village's original name was Abha Nagri and its present name is Abhaneri. Gurjar king Mihir Bhoj ruled over the Gujar kingdom in the ninth century AD. The ruins of the temple also speak of the 10th century architectural and sculptural styles. There is a huge tank named "Chand Baori ", opposite to the temple fortified on all four sides with bastions for defence. Even though Abhaneri is now in ruins, the place has a distinct reminiscence about itself.

After visiting Abhaneri village, move for Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will receive you and transfer you to Jaipur hotel. Our representative will ensure smooth check in at the pre-booked Jaipur hotel. Have relaxed overnight stay in Jaipur hotel.

Day 5

Jaipur city tour

Enjoying delicious breakfast, along with Jaipur tour guide, proceed for a tour of Amber Fort with an elephant ride from the foothills of Amber to the main gate of Amber Fort at the hilltop. After visiting Amber Fort, return to heart of Jaipur city. Jaipur city is studded with architectural marvels of bygone glorious era of Rajasthan. Jaipur city tour includes visit to City Palace, Jantar Mantar (stone built ancient solar observatory), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Albert Hall Museum (Central Museum) and Birla Temple. After visiting these monuments, explore local market of Jaipur. Shopping in Jaipur is a nice experience. Have lunch in nice restaurant of Jaipur. Later, along with tour guide, proceed to visit Albert Hall Museum. Albert Hall is famous for an Egyptian Mumy belonging to the Ptolemaic Epoch, Persian carpets and miniature paintings. Thereafter, you will be taken to Birla Temple to attend evening ‘aarti’. After watching royal monuments, bustling market and auspicious ‘aarti’, return to Jaipur hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6

Jaipur - Pushkar – Jodhpur

Having breakfast in Jaipur hotel, depart for Jodhpur. On the way to Jaipur is a cultural and religious centre of the Hindus- Pushkar. Pushkar is one of the prominent pilgrimages of the Hindus. On arrival at Pushkar, you will be received by our representative. Refresh and proceed for Pushkar sightseeing which comprises Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake, colorful local market and unique lifestyle in a Hindu pilgrimage. Having explored Pushkar in leisurely manner, have lunch in a nice restaurant and then proceed for Jodhpur. On arrival at Jodhpur, you will be transferred to pre-booked Jodhpur hotel for spending evening in leisure and having overnight stay therein.

Day 7

Jodhpur tour

Though you have already seen a glimpse of Rajasthani village in Abhaneri but that merely was concentrated to see monuments and architectural gems. You will be taken to craftsmen villages of Bishnoi tribe. Having enjoyed delicious breakfast in Jodhpur hotel, move on an excursion to Bishnoi village to have a look of real rural life in a Rajasthani village and villagers’ skill sets and value systems.

Enjoy mingling with rural folks, participate in religious rituals & experience historical Rajasthan. The Bishnois, a non-violent and nature loving sect of Hindu religion, are known for their harmonious co-existence with the nature and the animals. The Bishnoi community is known for its craftsmanship.

After Bishnoi village excursion, return to Jodhpur city to have lunch in a city restaurant and visit famous monuments of Jodhpur like rugged Mehrangarh Fort (one of best preserved forts of Rajasthan), Umaid Bhawan Palace & Museum (part of it a luxury heritage hotel, royal residence and museum), Jaswant Thada (known as Taj Mahal of Rajasthan- a royal cenotaph memorial) and Clock Tower. Also explore the famous Sadar Market. After exploring local market, return to Jodhpur hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8

Jodhpur-Ranakpur- Udaipur

After scrumptious breakfast, proceed for Udaipur. On the way, visit Ranakpur temple- one of the most famous Jain temple town of Rajasthan, India. Ranakpur is like an oasis amidst a desert landscape. After sightseeing, have your lunch in a nice restaurant of Ranakpur. After visiting Ranakpur temple, proceed for Udaipur which is almost 95 kms away from here. On arrival at Udaipur, check in at the pre-booked hotel. You will be having ample time to relax in leisure in hotel or to explore local market. Spend rest of the day at leisure or relax. Overnight stay will be at the Udaipur hotel.

Day 9

Udaipur sightseeing

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on Udaipur city tour. Udaipur, known by several names like ‘Venice of East’, ‘City of Lakes’, ‘City of Sun Rise’. Udaipur had been capital city of erstwhile Mewad region of Rajasthan and represents the true & real aspects of Rajasthani art, architecture and culture. City Palace of Udaipur is the largest palce complex in Rajasthan. True embodiment of Rajasthani architecture, the majestic City Palace is a marvellous constellation of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. City Palace houses the most beautiful temple- Jagadish Temple- within its complex. Another attraction of Udaipur is Jag Mandir Palace, built of yellow sandstone and mable. The pietra-dura work of Jag Mandir Palace, a three storeyed palce complex, has been a source of inspiration for Shah Jahan while embellishing Taj Mahal. Saheliyon Ki Bari and Bagore ki Haveli are other famous monuments on the cards while Udaipur sightseeing tour is planned. Later in the afternoon or early evening, move for relaxed sightseeing of Lake Palace (Jag Niwas) of Udaipur while having boat ride in Lake Pichola. After enjoying colourfully and serene ambience of Udaipur, return to Udaipur hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10

Udaipur - Delhi (by air) –Departure

Have delicious breakfast in Udaipur, spend morning hours leisurely soaking the romantic ambience of Udaipur. Late morning, you will be transferred to Maharana Pratap Airport of Udaipur to board New Delhi-bound flight. On arrival at New Delhi airport, board your flight for your onward destination.

We would require 50% advance payment to secure your bookings and process the file. We accept bank transfers and payment by credit cards through PAYPAL international payment gateway only. Balance amount needs to be paid on arrival in India by cash, Traveller’s Cheques or credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to 4.88% bank fees.

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.
